i used to attend this school and it was the worst three years of my life. I can only name a few teachers that actually tried to help their students- the rest either picked favourites or ignored our problems completely. I have a disability that id rather not mention, but this school barely offered me help with it even when my parents directly asked them to and along with this they did nothing to help my education- they refused to see my potential and so basically gave up on me. I have now moved schools and am in my final year. i have gotten B's to A*'s which proves that i was capable the staff just didnt believe in me and so never helped. i will admit; my behaviour wasnt great, but that was only because i was struggling terribly and all they ever did was scold me and stick me in the reflection room, even when i cried. the only reason i skipped lessons was to get away from the bullies in this school that the teachers praised constantly for being funny and sporty. i am eternally grateful for the staff here who did help me, and for the advantage of now being fluently welsh. but every night i would go to sleep sobbing, dreading the next day because this school was hell.
the school itself would be good if the teachers knew how to control the pupils. a lot of bullies in the school and an uncomfortable environment to be in with lots of chavs.
