poor and degrading experience additional learning needs
This school is terrible. Since the change of head teacher in April 2021, the school is reported by pupils as having "become a prison".
The identification of additional learning needs is atrocious, and instead of sending staff on appropriate training courses in a timely manner, send children to attend courses at other schools in an attempt to remove the barriers faced by neurodiversity. This leaves those children feeling even more isolated and puts them at a significant disadvantage when compared to their non-disabled peers. Some children in year 6 can barely even write and cannot undertake maths to the expected level.
I removed my children from this school.
