Hostile to Jews

Driving past Wyke College , Bricknell Avenue tonight, utterly shocked, horrified and appalled to see a mob of Wyke Sixth Form College students openly supporting Palestinains, and by implication, proscribed terror organisation, Hamas.

As a person very proud to have Jewish ancestry and a Zionist, such blatant displays of support for palestinians and Hamas is immnensely offensive.

I do not recall seeing one Wyke student protesting after Hamas murdered Israeli babies in ovens, raped and mutilated Israeli women, cut Israeli's heads off with shovels, set light to Israeli families and abducted elderly people, disabled children, seriously ill persons and Thai nationals. Not too mention countless rockets fired deliberately at civilian targets. When Hamas committed their atrocity on October last year Wyke students were silent.
Today's protest by Wyke students is tantamount to incitement to racial and religious hatred against Jews. This is very intimidating for any Jewish students who may attend Wyke. This is completely unacceptable and wholly unlawful.

We all know teenagers are naive, impressionable and gullible to manipulation by a leftist media that is anti-Israel. Whilst making that allowance, these students are condoning the October 7th massacare by Hamas of women and children. How would these students feel if the womenfolk in their family were raped, murdered or abducted and people protested against the British authorities for seeking to rescue their citizens and deal with the perpetrators of these crimes?

Today's unacceptable protest is doubtless fuelled by naivity, a complete lack of understanding about the culture and history of the Middle East, especially its sole democracy, Israel; the only country in the Middle East which allows freedom of speech, freedom of religion/belief and freedom for LGBT. Above all though, it is driven by hatred of the Jewish people. These students are representing Wyke. Clearly Wyke College is not safe for Jewish students. Is Wyke's Principal, Paul Britton happy for Wyke College to be seen as an educational establishment hostile to Jews? If not, then he needs to control his students.

History repeating. In the 1930s it was brownshirts in Nazi Germany protesting against and Vilifying Jews. In 2024 the same hatred of Jews is being expressed by 6th form students in Hull. Abhorrnt in the extreme. Shame on you Wyke College. You had made yourself a leftist pariah.
