The facilities at this school are some of the best. An animal centre, a dry ski slope, acres and acres of land. The classroom environment is nurturing in almost every lesson, however some teachers need to be more skilled in creating a healthy relationship with students to engage them in lessons and give them the confidence to achieve. When an incident occurs, staff are quick to jump on the issue in most circumstances however something is rarely done to resolve the problem. This would be something good to fix. I feel that the school treats everyone fairly and students can rest in ease knowing that equality is a significant benefit of this school. Food is expensive and sometimes quality. This can be improved. I have noticed a lot of bullying happening. Sometimes this can happen right infront of a teacher and they do not see and nothing is done to prevent this. Students don't have anyone to go to like a pastoral to sort out these problems, or other issues regarding mental health or bullying. This could be solved. Staff prepare students well for the future and sanctions are given out fairly. Uniform is good, giving flexibility in items such as shoes and bags, however rules need to be put in place to ensure students are safe in factors such as skirt lengths. This is a school, not a fashion show. Students are vulnerable. Overall, the school is usually a nice place to be, and staff manage the school well.
My school is amazing, it's a brilliant environment to be in for learning, classrooms are full of posters and useful guidance to help you in lessons. The Animal centre is open nearly all of the time, allowing students to go in and help out. And the teachers are lovely.
