Should I go to wolgarston ?
I am a wannabe student at this school does anyone know an honest opinion whether I should come to this school or not. I have not viewed the school as of yet but I am leaving my old school on the 4th February please gimme some advice whether this is a good school or not and how hard is it to make mates in year 9
Wolgarston High School
The teaching staff are amazing and push students to do their best everyday. However, the focus on uniform is ridiculous as it is far too strict. The fact that you can have your learning taken away from you because a piece of your uniform is incorrect is disgusting. The headteacher has not impressed me one bit. She is rude and impolite and tries very little to form important bonds with students. Overall, the teaching staff are wonderful and caring towards their pupils and want them to thrive but the new headteacher has imposed ridiculous rules and values that threaten the high standards of the school.
Good School
The school has great teachers and learning facilities and all departments work their hardest to help students achieve good grades. I do feel more help could be given to reduce the amount of bullying taking place in school and out.
Review
They prioritise uniform over mental health and bullies. They put too much pressure on the children. Half of the teachers can’t control their students which just leads to watered learning time .
Don’t bother
hated every minute of going here x teachers just let bullying happen, all the kids are stuck up and headteacher is unnecessarily nasty

Love the school, all the staff are super kind and supportive.
