Waping is allowed in the school, even in the classroom! Selling drugs in the toilets!!! Teachers dont get students 's learning and achivment seriously because only things that matter for them is, strikes and their aims!
They dont think after Covid-19, which had a massive impact on students's educational achievement, they are joining lots of strikes!!!
Therefore, as long as school needs to achieve the ofsted requirement level, teachers are only focused on students who are already at a higher level, and the rest are left out!
Did 47 backflips and 492 people punched my no no square also did over 7 poos a day In the toilets , I was bullied my my own dad for going here and I was jumped by a gang of y7 girls in zavetti Canada coats
Not a good school, I have a child with special needs and done nothing. He has an EHCP which they should follow and they don’t. I have managed to get a new school for my child and there answer is to put his days down to 2 days a week (as it’s better for the child) until he goes to his new school. He’s had no education for the past 2 months whatsoever. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO WINTERHILL!!!!
Also the bullying is rife here and they do not do anything about it!
School is so bad teachers dont care or help students problems but make them worse all they do is scream just because their teachers, the toilets are disgusting and theres hair sometimes in food. teachers are racist aswell and treat students differently depending who they are.
this school is so bad and dont help students with problems but make them worse and the toilets are disgusting and smell. All the teachers pick on students and some are racist and just scream only because their a teacher.
this school is so bad and dont come here they dont help with anything and they dont clean the toilets all they do is scream some are racist so dont bother thinking this schools great thankyou bye.
I’ve been bullied for 5 years at this school!!! i’m almost finished with school but no matter how many times i’ve told the teachers about it nothing has ever been done about it! the kids that bully other kids just get a slap on the wrist and told to ‘never do it again’ but are never severely punished for it so they just continue to do it because they know that they won’t get into serious trouble with it.
As well as this, some of the teachers are also just blatantly sexist. Saying that one of my friends can’t wear a suit to prom because she’s female and then continuing to mock her because she was talking about wearing a suit to prom.
Overall this school is sexist and doesn’t do anything about the problems some of the students face even though it claims to be an anti-bullying school and supports LGBTQIA+ when it so obviously doesn’t. You may see a couple of posters everywhere stating ‘Some people are gay. Get over it.’ but that’s basically all the school is capable of doing rather then helping the students being bullied for being a part of the community by other students.
Had enough negative experiences with teaching to begin. By the time of reaching year 11 I should’ve had more than 4years of physics. I have had roughly 2 years where the teachers weren’t absent for the entirety. Over 30 form tutors from year 7 despite being promised to have no more that 5 throughout our entire time. The teachers have displayed to do nothing at any bullying or anything of the sort that has gone on. Students being denied assistance in the past for mental health, thankfully steadily improving. Fellow students being racist, homophobic, antisemitic, sexual assault towards one another is disgraceful. And not to mention how many times have I found hair in my cake years back? How many times did I need food poisoning? Other than that in recent years it’s better. The younger years as loud and rude as ever, but at least some have a level of maturity needed for this place. Least there’s some nice people. And the cake is nice. And better events are held so we don’t feel like we are trapped in as much of a prison. And I very much enjoy being treated like a child rather than a teen in a grown up world.
:)
I’ve experienced in school for nearly 5 years at school, as i’m student. There’s a lot of teachers that are treated differently, and the headteacher doesn’t deal with them at all. When I share my experience on what it can be changed, they completely ignore it.
Awful school.
I was bullied throughout my time here with numerous teachers aware of it. They did nothing to support me or to stop it. The teaching is horrendous. I don’t think I ever had a stable science teacher or health & social care teacher throughout my time there. I’m so glad I left just before Lockdown due to Corona Virus. It was the best decision I’ve made and I know many other students still at the school struggling also.
Such a terrible school!!! Towards the end of year 11 i started to struggle with my mental health really badly and they did nothing to support me. I was also badly bullied throughout my time here. My sister is always getting forced to go into school when Ill and care more about attendance and GCSE grades!!
The teachers are great, and are doing their jobs the best that they can, with the terrible leadership team that they have in place. The head teacher has no backbone, and has forced the school to become run down, the leadership team don't care about the children and safeguarding is only useful if you're struggling with grades, nothing else.
They recently fired my media teacher, halfway through our GCSE course, forcing us to have to be taught the course by a teacher who doesn't know the information.
The school used to be good, now it's ruining mine and future pupils' chance at a good start in life.
Absolutely terrible. I was never provided a decent standard of work. I never studied GCSE content. And i was bullied for 3 years, as well as a friend of mine and nothing was ever done. Dont send your child here unless you want them to suffer tremendously. I moved at the end of year 9 and it was the best choice ive ever made. I never felt safe there
