When it comes to Wimbledon college, it all comes down to the behaviour and personality of you as someone looking to attend or your child if you are a parent,
Children who are primarily shy and keep to themselves may be fine throughout the duration of their time at the college but obviously there's no telling who would be in the year group.
When it comes to mental health conditions like autistic spectrum condition and other behavioural conditions they may struggle in the college, I'm not saying that there isn't any support for those with what i stated above but there is the fact that others who don't share an understanding or are insensitive about mental health conditions may make the time at the college hard, as it is an all boys school there is a lack of empathy compared to a mixed school, obviously you may prefer to go to an all boys school or you may prefer your child to but you need to think about if it will be right for you,
one of the biggest negative factors that i can think of is that there is almost 0 LGBT Awareness and support for those who need it, when asked, the senior staff simply said that some parents won't agree with the teachings, but all this tells me is that they care more about a small group of parents, in which the teaching won't directly affect them in any way, than the education of the students, they may have the occasional talk on safe sex maybe once every 4 years at the college but not once is anything about LGBT Related safe sex, this clearly is an issue that should be brought up but this may change in the coming year of me making this post
the school has refused cheap and affordable training for their staff from an LGBT organisation and i don't doubt they have done it multiple times,
Those who's religion may not be Catholic or Christian may be forced to attend the religious activities of the college, obviously everyone is made to attend unless they have an approved reason at the time not to, however for those who have to pray during the school day according to their religion as far as I'm aware the school does allow time for that to happen as long as you tell the school before your child's first day accommodations can be made
If your child is interested in acting and on stage performance the drama department isn't that bad in my personal opinion, the stage in the main hall has a lighting and sound deck allowing for an improved experience in that field
