Stuided here between 2015-2020 was harassed by teachers constantly taking me out of lessons for minor inconveniences due to my autism and ADHD, they did not understand it nor choose to. They had a very biased way of thinking towards their female pupils which I’ve always found a bit perverted. I have no idea about the school from 2020 to present day, doubt it is any better as they still retain quite a lot of teachers that were they when I was.
Do not send your child here. They don’t listen to the child’s voice. A lot of bad behaviour and they don’t do nothing. If you don’t want your child to learn send them there. Teachers get punch can’t control there students. Do not send them there. There food rating is 0 school should close
My daughter had a detention for a hour after school and she was unaware of her period. When she realised that she had been on it, she asked the teacher if she could go use the toilet quickly. The teacher said no and even after she gave her reason the teacher still declined. this caused her to leak on to her chair. making her feel extremely uncomfortable. When she came home she had tears from her eyes. And it was unacceptable for the school to say it was my daughters fault when this was the first time she had got her period
it's so TERRIBLE, im kidding, it's mid,- overpriced miniture school lunches for £1,000,00.80 or something, I dont even know And dont even get me started on how broken and laggy the new sparx maths system is.
Worst school ever instiutionally racist a child was being verbally and phyiscally abused at this school nothing was don3 apart from thw school trying to cover it up and blame ot on the child and his family,
This school is institutinally racist they i dont know how it hasnt been closed down.
Students there were mostly nice, I guess it's important to remember that teenagers are experiencing the world properly for the first time, so it's not unusual for them to be mean. Staff was mostly friendly, although we felt a little bit like some teachers didn't care so much about us. They handle learning difficulties reasonably well, but I do think it could be better. They offer lots of extra curricular activities and I honestly don't think they got enough credit for how they handled covid restrictions. I'm overall very happy with my experience there, I'm glad I studied at willowfield.
One of the worst school experiences I've ever had, poor teaching and effort on behalf of the teachers, terrible behaviour from the students and a huge lack of discipline, mandatory resources and general care. Ever since the headteacher changed, the school has gone down hill ever since. Students who often act out and misbehave face almost no repercussions whereas a good student who makes a small mistake is punished with almost no remorse. Many complaints about students being secluded and isolated for days for a small mistake that could be fixed simply. I would never send my child to this school, there is a big issue with sexism and racism among students and even some teachers which is never addressed. Big issues are taken lightly and they do the absolute bare minimum for learning and their students im general. Absolutely awful communication skills between teachers and parents as you do not often find things out until they're done or your child has come to you. Quite a few teachers set a very bad example to students in how they present themselves during school hours, many teachers come looking unkempt and untidy, using phones during class when that is very much not allowed, how can you preach rules you do not follow. Nobody will take you seriously. Nobody in that school genuinely cares unless it affects their job and status directly. The lunches have gone downhill, they are not nutritious at all. If you can send your child with a packed lunch or don't send them to this school at all if you genuinely cherish their wellbeing. Mental health is not taken seriously at all in this school, as long as you keep your attendance and punctuality to a t, they could not care less about students. The students on the other hand are just as bad, and it's understandable why. If someone spends 6 hours a day, 5 days a week in an environment, that environment will have a massive impact on behaviour and when their behaviour is not kept in check or monitored, then it will just get worse. When students are released from school at the end of the day, many of them can be seen harassing people in the general public while the teachers standing outside do next to nothing. Bullying is a massive issue that is not cared about either until the victim retaliates. For the size of the school it is extremely overpopulated. It is very obvious willowfield school and their higher ups are in it for the money and it's about time someone spoke about it.
