West Walsall E-ACT Academy has mixed reviews from both parents and students. Academically, the school shows average performance in some areas and strong scores in others. For instance, around 51% of students achieved at least a grade 4 in English and Maths GCSEs, a benchmark that indicates basic proficiency, while 37% achieved a higher grade of 5 or above in these subjects, roughly aligning with national averages. However, the Progress 8 score, which measures academic progress from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4, sits slightly below the national average at -0.06, indicating modest room for improvement

Racist teacher’s ,bad rough students,I had an incident today with my child where my brown child who was just genuinely being their self, and some girls came to make trouble which were white and teachers were on white girls side, even though my child did nothing

Sport is good. This school student is very good in math and science. Thanks
Teachers don't care about you the good ones are no longer there because they don't like the environment and I personally believe the school needs a full makeover and they should take better care of students. Headteacher abuses her power
The worst 5 years of my life wasted here. I can confirm I am still affected by everything that happened to me here. It was a traumatic experience that I will carry for the rest of my life. Where do I begin? From racism, discrimination, harassment, physical and emotional abuse... list goes on. Left year 11 with disappointing grades - teachers lied about the grading process and were very biased in the way they awarded and marked students. Some teachers are very lovely and honestly I don't blame them. However a few teachers such as males come across as creeps, including some female teachers I knew, looking at my body up and down and gave uncomfortable stares and dirty looks that made me feel like I did not belong. Even treated me differently to others in the class, made me feel embarrassed. Don't get me started on students. Constant drama and fights that happened, bullies seem to be on a pedestal while teachers did nothing but gave them a little rant and warning even when another incident occurred again. This school does not deserve a good rating from ofsted. In simple terms, please do not send your child here, unless you want to worsen their mental health.
Teachers are good at their jobs but the environment is no good for learning the students are violent, homophobic and rude to staff and other students. The break area is always full of people trying to instigate a fight or taunt people. You can barely move without having things thrown at when the teacher is out the room from glue sticks to pens and even dictionaries and this is in a top set year 11 class. The lesson themselves are good and once again the teachers are good they offer interesting options like dance and astronomy for GCSES and the teachers enjoy doing what they do but the overall atmosphere is ruined by the students.
