Just thought I would come on here and just leave an honest review. The staff are very rude and embarrassingly under educated. Half the time they read off slides, and the other time they fail to engage with the students, making the classes boring and dull. The food is atrocious, and the way it is run is ridiculous. For safety and security, it’s top notch. Not only is the a giant barbed wire fence that you can walk around, but the gates are held together by super magnets that can be opened by one kick. TWGSB is the worst school in the area, don’t be fooled by the fact that it is a grammar school, because you can get the same level or even better if education by going to any other school.
Great school with mostly good teachers (some GCSE subjects have supply teachers with them throughout due to lack of staff) the students are a rabble and the facilities are now excellent. Some teachers are a bit angry (one told my I was going to work in tescos) but most are kind. Welfare are genuinely the nicest people I've ever met in my entire life
Being honest, the years at this school have not been great, as the teachers come and go, especially the science teachers in particular. Cafeteria is not half bad but the current facilities are decent. Not a bad school but also not a good school either. Would recommend if you like sciences or Design based subjects you go to another school as the Design and science departments are quite weak compared to other subjects facilities
Rubbish facilities. Inexperienced teachers and the food is rubbish. It is well worth putting in the extra effort to get to skinners or Judd because the school is the lowest of the low
The school has little playground room and isn’t cleaned in the lunch halls enough, some mornings before school starts you may find pasta on the floor, it’s horrible
