Honestly as a year eleven pupil about to leave the school who has been there since year eight, I do not suggest this school to anyone who has a child with additional needs or mental health problems or are transgender, authorities told my parents this would be the best school for me because of my additional needs and mental health. It was not. Looking apon the support my friends at other schools get for their additional needs compared to tudor is phenomenal, I’ve been told “get back in that classroom it’s not that loud” when I’d walked out because of a sensory overload. I’ve been misgendered casually, they don’t even try to hide it. Even by staff who never knew me before I transitioned. The senior leadership team often walk past children having panic attacks or crying and either ignore them or send them to isolation. If you have additional needs you are allowed to access the base if your overwhelmed supposedly, but everytime you go for timeout you get a detention for hotspot. Overall this school has ruined my mental health, made me near school refusal, had me so stressed out about exams after promising arrangements (to reduce anxiety) that never happened, they made my homelife horrible because I was always lashing out at my parents. They made my anxiety worse even outside of school. It’s not fair on time to ruin my weekends which they did because I spent Saturdays anxious coming down from the school week and Sundays anxious about Monday. It just isn’t fair, in my opinion no student should go to this school.
