I will start of by saying the teachers don’t care about u a single bit, they will say stuff to try and “help” their students well-being’s and mental health but really they are making it worse. They choose students they prefer more and pick sides and when they say “we have done everything we can” they don’t really mean that but ofcourse nobody listens. This school is full of horrible people your child is not safe here. At all.
It’s very very very very bad. They have congaed all of the sets in all classes and every year is squeezed into one corridor and people get pushed, shoved and hurt trying to get out of there. And we have 2-3 classrooms for every lesson. It’s bad
The teachers shout and tell you to shut up in your face. They lock the school toilets but moan at you when you need the toilet and don’t go. There’s so many new staff that don’t know what they’re doing. And they search you if you go to the toilet which is illegal. They say we should open up to them but when we do they do nothing about it and say “don’t be silly”. We have a 15 minute break which hardly anyone gets cos the teachers keep you behind to finish all your work in under 5 minutes. Mr Burns the new headteacher storms around school threatening to permanently exclude every student that is walking to go to the toilet/reflect or intervention. One teacher targets me by booking me in csc for the smallest excuses every chance she gets. I got booked in for 2 days for apparently not going to my last lesson when I was doing my prep exam for cooking so I was in that lesson. The teachers are racist and homophobic and also point out personal things infront of everyone. A teacher came up to me and said I’m scruffy cos my ties too short when my tie was the same as everyone else’s and it wasn’t affecting anyone till she pointed it out.
This school was awful, was given zero support when struggling with bullying and bad mental health. Teachers forced me to stay in lessons while having a panic attack, wouldn’t allow me to leave and calm myself. I was told to ignore bullies even though it was giving me severely bad thoughts. The only thing they did to help was put me in a school for “special” students who also “couldn’t handle” the environment.
Trinity was a very homophobic place to be and victim blamed the students.
Was not a safe environment to be in.
Staff only helped their favourites and having to stand up as a senior member of staff walked in is Victorian.
I’ve been there since year 7 , I am now in year 11 and the amount of times I’ve wanted to leave that terrible school is mad. I’ve gone through racism with teachers singling me out because I’m black. Teachers just being ignorant and stupid. Them not caring about incompetent students and just letting things run to the ground. Cant wait to leave lolll deffos won’t be going to the sixth form. Recommend to chavs and road men tho ,, you guys will fit right in stinky balls. Oh yeah they are also understaffed and many of the teachers are incompetent so we learn next to nothing xoxoxo Oh yeah and a bunch of students were racist and homophobic and the teachers knew about it and they did nothing ;)))
Still stuck there now, I can’t wait to be rid of the place. Punishment for those who bully others is practically nonexistent. Teachers do favour students, usually those who misbehave the most leaving classes more and more frustrated. Many students (especially those who show even the slightest bit of individuality) don’t feel safe there as the behaviour of students gets worse each year.
Went to this horrible school for 5 years and they never did anything about bullying. Teachers had favourites and would always make sure their ‘mates’ were well looked after. Some teachers have no self awareness and others actually pick on kids with the other students (Mr Dixon was one of them and so was Mr Myrie) they’d always think it was funny and wouldn’t take it seriously. They let their favourites get away with almost everything and it’s a horrible school. Some teachers would even favourites the boys over the girls, since we have to line up for lunch outside we’re expected to be in a straight line but the boys were always allowed in first even if they were everywhere and the girls were made to be in a perfect line otherwise we’d be let last for lunch. It gets even worse! One girl I know got excluded for a week and sent to inclusion for telling ofsted the truth about how we never use trampolines. Do not recommend.
It’s eh. Some don’t wear masks, others do. They are trying their best to do what they can, but with the corridors the size they are, it’s impossible to social distance 1000+ kids. Food could use drastic improvement (I’ve heard this from other students, as I bring my own lunch).Sports could be more interesting, it’s just the same activities over and over
