This school is bad
The teachers are so strict about uniform especially the shoes like what the flip why do I have to wear shoes with a flipping step in them like dude this ain't the fricking army what is the point there is just no point and also why do socks have to be full black we line up everyday in the back playground and we have to be checked for your ruler two pencils two pens a rubber and a flipin calculator the amount of school fights to it's just stupid

New toilets don't have a door on so it's wide open to the corridor. Can't get a drink unless you have a bottle otherwise have to pay for one from the canteen. The uniform policy is shocking not aloud socks over tights stupid. I get the skirt thing but surely a pencil skirt sutable length is fine because the flowy ones go up in the wind. Or even let them wair a long to the ancles pencil skirt. Too many things is wrong with this school
A genuine opinion on how bad it is
Genuinely, this school is horrible. Being in my final year here, I've seen this place get worse and worse. The teachers themselves just do not care, only a select few are decent for their job but for the most part, the people who are there to help us learn don’t do their jobs. The building itself is practically crumbling to bits, I've seen sewers cleaner than the toilets at Treviglas! And they have all this talk about “improving the school environment” but I feel as if it's just waffling and trying to put a blanket of “positivity” over what it really is.
As well as that, my mental health (and a few other people whom I know) has gone down the drain since day 1. I dread going to sleep on Sundays because I know it’s just going to be another cycle of waking up ridiculously early in the morning, not having time to eat, stressing about missing something whilst on the bus, being overwhelmed and then the utter loathing I have throughout the day is indescribable. And that wheel continues on and on, then there's a break for a week or two and then it continues all the way up to the Summer. I've cried multiple times whilst in the school building because a) my mental health has been so damaged I can’t take anymore, or b) with my disability (which the school pays no mind to because “why would they”?) my joints can occasionally be in so much pain that I can’t walk without trouble, but I know that if I go to the office the school won't do bull. Multiple times I've had to ring my mum asking her to pick me up due to this as I know if I ask the school to do so they will just straight up refuse and send me off. Yeah, so much so for “we care for our students”.
There’s definitely more I can write about but this is just my honest opinion on this sh#thole.

This school is literally horrendous 💀.
I go here currently about to go into year 10 and they don’t care about your well-being and learning at all, I have supplies most lessons or I don’t learn anything because they’re always shouting at the kids that can’t bloody behave.
They only care about uniform, I have a ring I wear during tests to help me concentrate and I was told I can’t wear it even though my head of year was emailed. The stupid services people are also terrible and I was told by one of the staff that they haven’t seen me in ages because someone’s problems are “more important” than mine like wtf 💀.

I’ve been gaslit, sexually harassed, sent to isolation for fuck all bullied had multiple meetings. I this school cares more about a fucking uniform then our education than our mental health, then our physical health, then our safety they keep the gate wide open for kids to walk out of the school for rondos to enter the school and whatever the fuck they want. They don’t then you home when you’re sick. The most they do is give you paracetamol and a glass of water to go back to class and if you need to go home, you have to be to want to call your mother or father or carer to come and get you because the school won’t send you home there’s barely any good teachers you don’t wanna send your kids here if you actually care about them, if it was up to me, School would be shut down
The school needs to educate the staff to treat the kids better and with more respect

This school is absolutely shit I have been gaslit by a teacher when this girl touched my tit and no teacher even saw it but this teacher that was gaslighting me is the supposed autism champion at this school she’s left now and so has the girl that touched my fucking tit. I’ve been bullied at that school since day one of yr seven at the school has done fuck all except have a ”word” with the students me and my mum and my dad have had multiple meetings with the school and they do absolutely jack shit I’ve had friends tern away from me and sometimes I had to eat lunch alone because everyone thought I was making it up but I wasn’t the School. It’s fucking disgusting. The girls bathrooms don’t get cleaned properly the sanitary towel bins stink and I have to walk past them every single day. If it was up to me, the school would have been shut down a long time ago and the school care more about uniform, then behaviour then education, then what are they supposed to do then making us feel safe making us want to get out of bed in the morning to actually come to that shit hole believe me you don’t wanna send your kids here

This school is actually AWFUL! The teachers don't care about students well being or how they are being treated. JUST uniform and grades. I go there myself and it always feels like I'm missing homework or i forget my stupid tie. It gave me a lot of anxiety. They will send you a minus point for doing no homework for subjects that don't even need homework according to google and if you have an excuse they will not sympathize at all. The staff there are another story. The ladies at the student services are stern and mean and the ACTUAL teachers are so mean! The only people at that school are the lunch ladies and of course my friends. The building is old and things are getting moldy and smelly. Overall if you have a child in year 6 and are thinking of sending them there DO NOT send them there. Your child will go from really comfortable and happy to sad and quiet!

School toilets are horrible always broken then they blame it on us when we all know it’s the higher years just either put cameras outside the toilets to see who goes in and just send a 200 pound fine for vandalism

Shit school
Absolute shite school, don’t do anything to help my son, all of his friends say how bad the rules are. They act completely different when visitors come in to act like there school is actually getting somewhere. It’s a human right to to go the toilet and they don’t allow it, absolute bullshit. The school had a protest a couple weeks ago and they are acting like they are going to do something just so the school doesn’t get a bad review, and you know what, I wish I could rate it a 0!!!! No white socks? Why? Vital and important areas have NOT been renovated in what looks like 2 decades. Outdated worksheets, mostly from 2010 or so.
Some science tables have writing on them which says "(name) 2001"
2001?! These tables are 22 years old! Or more! Some gas taps don't work, all rusted and stuck. Some of the heating and other appliances don't work. They are trying to lock all the bathrooms during lesson time, which is completely unreasonable and unhygienic. Asbestos in the ceilings which makes approximately 7 classrooms unavailable due to the school trying to redo the upper level of the school. How long is this going to take?
The 'cornerstones' they love so much do nothing to affect the students, and are completely and utterly ignored. Everyone is violent in some way and quite unkind, despite the headteachers feeble attempts to correct this. The students (of all years, from year 7 to year 11) have recently protested against various overflowing problems with good reasoning and the staff have taken no notice, in fact, it seems they are trying to shut them up.
We are extremely dissatisfied.
Go to Tretherras, Brannel, St Blazey, anywhere but Treviglas!!

i got blamed for using racist language(monkey)to aboy whom i dont talk to hes always gobby and shouts names at me but yesterday got in a fight with my freind and bf has balmed me for calling him a monkey when evryone in my class that isnt his mates can agree i never did. Then today said i called him a monkey when he kniws full well i didnt and hes just trying to start drama went and reported 2nd brake wrote my statment and my freind and her bf wrote theirs and a witness stament. Which stated i didnt say it teachers had dealt with the sistuation by beleving the boy as hes a popular boy and has alot more freinds they all said they were their when they werent only me my frend her bf another freind harly and 2!! of his mates were their not the other 20 so belived him and have excluded me for something i havent done for 2 days. IF YOUR ARE CONSIIDERING BRINGING YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL THINK CARFULLY is a bully school sexist school and an absalute shit hole. toilets are discusting toilet seats are none agsistent roof tyles constantly flooring vapes put in their and most girl toilets are out of order due to idiots going in and barking hear. staff are appsultly unprofessinal i think the only professional teachers are the dinner ladies and the cleaners. It's terrible, the sixth form doesn't have any rooms to go in because the school has asbestos in the A corridor. Which means all the classes are no in sixth form until June. This means the sixth form no longer has a place to learn. Absolute nightmare, wouldn't even send my 4 year old cousin to this school. I'd rather go to his school instead.

Avoid Treviglas
We didn't think a school could be any worse than the 3 primary schools our children attended, but how wrong we were! There is zero SEN support and what little support there is, is withdrawn with no communication to the pupils' parents. During meetings parents are made to feel they shouldn't ask questions, or receive any answers regarding their childs' education.
The condescending attitudes of the headteacher and assistant headteacher towards parents is disgusting and shocking. Children seem to be brainwashed by the school into believing they are happy and being fully supported, they are not allowed to be honest and truthful about what happens in school, this is deemed to be negative. There is an extremely high turnover of staff which speaks volumes about how the school is being run. There are more staff employed to help teachers than there are learning support staff to help pupils.
Bullying is a major issue which is never dealt with but when staff are guilty of bullying parents, it's no surprise the pupils are allowed to continue to bully.
Pupils mental well-being is at risk at this school, no wonder so many young people suffer with depression and anxiety. The school is only concerned about the shoes children wear. Health, well being & education is not important at Treviglas.
Parents aren't even allowed to have their say on the Parents Facebook page without a certain biased admin sticking her oar in and giving her unwanted opinion and shutting down threads. It's supposed to be a safe space for parents to ask for advice from other parents.

This school is appalling. It has no intention of teaching you correctly. SLT (Senior Leadership Team) will treat the students misbehaving like angels. However if one student does a mistake they blacklist you and continously goed at you just so they have more against you. They have had no intention for caring for you, cannot cook their food (I had diarrhea from chicken in one of their paninis). Big shame. They make no efforts towards good learning they make effort when there's offstead in the building. Absolutely appalling. Shocking. Disgust. Anger.
