Totnes Progressive School

The school focuses on academic achievement and not so much anything else. I believe that the school is perfect to get a pretty much guaranteed 4-5-6-7 and above which is obviously amazing but a big thing for me actually going there is there isn’t enough sport and it’s not up to a level of high quality but it’s ok as I said above if you just want the academic stuff.

Totnes Independent School is lovely warm environment with staff that care and genuinely want to see you achieve excellence. LARS is our guiding principle that students created.

Totnes Independent School focuses more on academic excellence more
than sport so if sport is what your into I would recommend a different school.the teachers are really kind and caring and they are incredible at what there teaching.

Totnes Independent School is a very popular place as it has small class sizes and is practically 1 to 1 teaching. I would say if you were going to pick Totnes independent School you need to be mainly focused on the academic side of things as they don’t really do sports like other schools. If you want a classic college experience i would suggest another school for the job. Totnes independent School doesn’t provide school lunches and for me that was a big deal, but they more than make up for it with the incredible amount of support and teaching they do here. I would highly recommend Totnes Independent School but as I said above I would love to see more sports and better sports management come into play and maybe some sought of school lunch/shop. Totnes independent school is a very warm and welcoming environment with the main guiding principles which is LARS love, acceptance, respect and safety these will be taught and enhanced while you continue your education journey and they will make you to become a better person. Totnes independent school is an amazing school and I would highly recommend it
