Tong is not a good learning environment
I am student at tong I in year 7 the teachers are horrible most of them give detentions for the small reasons like someone fell of their chairs and they got an impacted and detention other than asking if they were okay the teachers does nothing to the bad students they are all way out of lesson or coming to lesson that are not post to be In most of the students are rude to the year 7 and teachers can and they do nothing like someone was running they can see and they give so much homework and if you ask for help for the work they will only read the question out
The issue with students at the school
School itself isn’t bad, the students in the school are. Teachers refuse to expel students that have continuous bad behaviour which really impacts the learning of others, multiple students can be seen out of class during lessons and teachers barely resolve the issue . I recommend this school should get another check up immediately.

I’ve been bullied and I’ve only been to Tong for about half a year now. I’m in year 7 and teachers aren’t doing anything about it. DONT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE
do not send your kid to this school
it is awful don’t send anyone here no teachers help you at all and it is just shocking from all the teachers and they just scream at the students when they are not in the wrong and will do nothing at all to help you all they care about is their reputation
Six form application.
I was a student since Year 7 and when the 6 form application approached, we had been " guaranteed " by multiple staff members that we would certainly have a place and we would have no concerns. However the day after our last GCSE exams, we all recieved a letter stating the school had cancelled the 6 form course and left over 40 students scrounging for a place over the summer holidays. The school did nothing to support us and abandoned all of us, stranded in a cyclical structure of stress and torment. Their mediocer excuse to wash their hand from responsibility, was four colleges were only one did the courses I wanted.
I would not recommend this school, but if you were sentence here like I was do not believe their lies and deseatfull methods. There is no support expecially if your not a sporty students.

Brilliant.
Honestly helped me so much. i think there were some downsides but i now feel better about the school and the teachers are so helpful. This school is what made me realise that helping students is so important. One bad side is that we didn't get many GCSE options given.
Do not send ur kid to this school
I started at this skl in 2017 and I'm now in Yr 10 doing my gcse so they only give u 4 options to do for and the ones they gave to my year was "btech sport" "art" "child development and care" and "creative imedia" I specifically needed business studies and music to go to college for what I wanted to go to college for yet they advertised they offer all these gcses on their website yet I didn't get the ones I need and don't even get me started on the ammout of bullying and badly behaved students
