School is ok but lots of unnecessary rules such as no face piercings, no more than 1 stud in each ear, only allowed one ring, one necklace and one bracelet. If you refuse to get your other bracelets off, they cut them off your wrist and throw them away. They are too busy caring about girls skirts, instead of fights and bullying. Some of the teachers got fired from their last school and now Thomas Keble have them.
Prioritise uniform and appearance over anything. Not 5 weeks before the end of my time at this school and we were told to buy new uniform if necessary. Year 8s we’re told they looked like whores if they’re skirts were above the knee. Piercings are a disruption apparently, but the amount of harassment the staff will go through to make sure you remove the piercing is more time consuming than it’s worth in my opinion.
Little to no pastoral help for those truly suffering. Cases of sexual harassment and assaults and other serious issues completely overlooked until police intervention forces them to comply. Ridiculous uniform rules and very poorly managed notifications about upcoming events.
