It’s good learning good education but some teachers are strict and rude some students need more education than others and extra help and maybe better learning on neurodivergent people

Fantastic foot tapping school concert
Went to the school concert last night all the work by students and teachers absolutely fantastic we were all foot tapping and singing along the work put into this into this by the singers the band with no name singing and playing twist and shout good work lads the girl’s singing from Adele then the choir . It was obvious that all who took part enjoyed it. Well from what I saw and heard the parents grandparents all of us were proud of your commitment to making the concert one to remember!

Is so bad that at first the teacher act nice but wen you get to know them they are so nasty and rude to students and one of them teaches look up my skirt but is “to short “ and forced to change in a boy trainers in a dirty room is is horrible they and their all was fighting and then their is a fight were are the SLT it is not safe a t tbcs please don’t go there

the teachers are terrible at doing their job and most are sexist I got excluded for a girl hitting me and I hit her back 3 teachers was there and as soon as I hit her the teachers would be putting all negatives on my class charts schools crap don’t recommend teachers are racist, sexist and judgmental with students that have a past of mis behaving they hold grudges against students when a visitor comes in the teachers act really nice and expect us to say that this schools amazing but in reality it’s terrible most teachers I would always have respect for. Teachers in that school would love respect even when they disrespect us respect goes both ways but that school seems to think not.

This school sucks
My experience at this particular secondary school was one of the worst times of my life. The worst five years i’ve ever been through, surprised i made it out in one piece. did not have a good relationship with either students nor the teachers, excluding a select few that will always have a place in my heart. the education system was extremely flawed and i did not agree with 90% of the school rules. staff failed to discipline students, leading to disrespectful and vicious young teenagers. would not recommend, 1/5 stars. thank you
TBCS Review - bad school I personally think !!!
This school is awful with bullying. My child comes crying home almost every day. Also some of the teachers think its okay to say the N word when being white. 2 reports of teachers saying it and the school have done nothing about it them teachers still work there. They need to be gone!!!!!!! Or my child will no longer go to TBCS!!
Not good school
This school is very bad one teacher has given me and a friend an x for no logical reason and when there was a fight incident a parent contacted the school and they never responded so I think Thomas becket is a bad school and would not recommend going here

The teachers dont do much about our issues. All the teachers rule is I can be rude to you but if you reply like you would In a normal conversation its calssed as talking back. Some of the teachers are racist/homophobic/sexist. This school needs students to talk to them not have students sent out of class for asking why they got in trouble as its classed as rude. Honestly the food is not bad though. This school needs to change their attitude!!

Worst school ever
Joining TB has been hell and I will happily leave that trash school. Why??
-Teachers and staff. It's always them that get me annoyed. Trust me not all of them are bad but most are. Either they are fake, two faced (Too nice) or they don't teach the class well (like just give us worksheets and waffle -_-) or they are just plain rude and simply don't care about the students wellbeing. They are also a few that are racist, homophobic and sexist but I won't go into too much detail.
They also love to overload students with homework and stress us out so because of that some students are flunking class now. Then they blame us for "not working hard enough." And not to mention they just want us to act good and behave when there is a visitor coming into our school and teachers behave more nicely too. Everything about that school is bad tbh and there are so many occasions where they either target me or just be plain rude and trust me I am not the only one.
If your thinking of joining that school don't. The chances of you succeeding in that school with no problems are very slim

Probably the worst school in the county
Being at tb was a hell of a journey and going to another has been so much better for me.
In a nutshell, tb has:
• hypocritical rules, eg having to raise hand to answer to have to be called on and then having to answer
• extremely strict rules, eg a 30m detention for being just 30s late and extra ones for two/three per week, and yet nothing if you miss all form oddly
• favourite year groups that remain so their whole time, eg the year above got so many more opportunities (careers advice, trips, video calls for lockdowns, bettter subject choices, etc) whilst we didn't (the videochats finally came but only for form which was just to nag and lower already low student morale)
• not cared for students enough, eg would make bereaved students submit work on the day of the funeral or blame the student for mental health problems like stress and insomnia (eg because of their tonne of work set that doesn't really help you progress as quickly), then gossiping for any of these problems and providing no help.
• huge problems with staff retention - i had 4 headteachers over the 5 years, most teachers left after a year, periods of *months* of just cover or no teachers, but other times cover lessons would be because teachers prioritised meetings way more than teaching
• made many lies, eg did assemblies just to tell students to pretend the school was good at inspections, act like you are wrong with whatever you say is a problem (eg the toilets weren't done for four years of us complaining) or trying to dis other schools for something they have much worse, a bit like a manipulative partner.
Honestly leaving was the best feeling in my life. Don't make the same mistake as me of joining.

Not sure I’d recommend
I don’t think Tb is a school I’d recommend simply because you’ll end up hating your time there within a week. I believe our school has sanctions that are far to harsh: leaping from a lunchtime detention to a Friday after school, to a Saturday morning, to an expulsion. Instead of us pupils enjoying the little free time we’re given, we’re expected to spend it at school also. Not worth the trouble.
