They are supposed to be disabled, friendly and support people in accessing the courses
I unfortunately did not receive this! I spent six months trying to enroll on a course at two I missed each deadline. Through the lack of response and support.
When I finally did get some kind of response, all the courses I wanted to do at past. I’ve put in a formal complaint and they suggested a summer school program. What was shocking is it completely fell apart again. In the end I was told that I wouldn’t be able to access it due to my disability is as a lack of access. That during the summer program, there is very little health and safety procedures set in place due to staff. I was then told the lift, broke the day before I was meant to attend. When I sent a email to say that I’d had enough and won’t be attending. She seemed shocked and said they have tried their best to help me. ( one of the things they reduced course fee by £20😳) But how could I attend the college when there was no disabled access,
Their health and safety officer was constantly trying to tell me that can I not just walk up the stairs and he would assist me. Despite telling him, I am in a wheelchair on many.
I was finally offered to attend the courses that start back in September 23
I don’t have no confidence in general staff and head staff. That I would be safe and be able to learn. Very poor services. They wouldn’t even get one star if I had my way
