As a Student this isn't a school it's basically a park all that is missing is sand and swings this school is ridiculous everyone does what they want teachers are rude u will only find approximately around 3to 4 teachers that are kind and actually teach their students good never put ur kid into thus school it is terrible ur child will have nightmares and so will u
Not only is this school appalling as it is. Everywhere is disgusting and trashed mess is everywhere the floors are covered in mess and old food the whole perimeter of the school is vandalised. There’s litter everywhere food smashed up the walls it’s vile the whole school reeks of human feeces. Also there is constant fights every single day where people get really hurt even heads smashed open at some times and they proceed to allow those children who harmed these others back into the school. What if they did it again? What if they did it to a teacher next time? They are taking that risk letting these ignorant people have second chances in the school for exclusions for only 1 day. Every other school I’ve attended has permanently kicked children out for having physical fights in the school. It’s not even like the children who are causing harm on the others won’t do it again cause I’ve seen it happen where children will have fights hurt another person really badly maybe even sending them to hospital or a&e get another chance and come back in do the same things again and couple weeks later and get another chance again after that one doesn’t make any sense there more concerned on the kids who are a bit cheeky, don’t attend there lessons and come in a bit late. Wouldn’t send your kid here as I said before totally setting them up for failure. There schools grade levels are extremely low think that says it all. There having so many teachers from that school leave and trying to get the teachers from the linked school Kenilworth trust academy to come over and help them cause they can’t do anything themselves cause they are straight up lazy people who sit back and expect everyone to do the work for them.
This is school is honestly not worth going to… first of all the school is so SMALL and yet they are still letting in new students and pupils. The corridors are filled with people and I feel like I’m about to get pushed down the stairs and die. Not even kidding😭… Also wanna complain about smelly classrooms. I wanna be sick when I enter the most smelliest, sweaty classroom ever. Some teachers don’t even open the goddamn window which is gross. But honestly I think this is a problem in most uk schools so that’s fine..
TOILETS👏 are locked during lesson time. And you can’t go to the toilet during lessons unless you have a toilet pass. I was literally about to piss myself during lessons(thank for I didn’t tho lol). What about toilets at break and lunch? People vaping… what a surprise. Went to the toilet at break and never again. First of people were vaping and the smell is disgusting. Once I’ve done my business I couldn’t even wash my hands because the students wouldn’t move their dirty bags out of the sink. Surprise! There’s also trash everywhere in the sink!!! And no soap. Hate to say this but a used pad? In the toilet? Pass.
Heard that bullying was a big thing and apparently teachers don’t do much but I’m not into that stuff :/
Teachers and staff are fine I guess. Most are good and some are meh. I didn’t mind the teachers since I didn’t get into trouble much.
Ah, let’s talk about the canteen, firstly overpriced food. I’m sorry but 2.45 (or something like that) for a damn panini? Y’all gotta be joking. I was disgusted when I found HAIR in my roast dinner. It wasn’t my hair because I don’t have black hair… but ew. Had to throw all my food away and stay hungry for the rest of the day.
This is a very bad school. The food taste like doo doo and it smells like toilets. The teachers are discraceful and rude to unlock the toilets which we need
From my experience attending this school it was absolute hell, and to be brutally honest I was severely bullied to the point it made me very depressed/suicidal from the age of 13. The school were aware of all of this but I never got any support. The school therapist at the time who went by the name "Amanda" was awful. Unless you had somewhat of a popularity status, she didn't care less about giving you support or help. I think I received her idea of "support" once and it was a very brief chat which I recieved no help progressing from this. However it was always so crushing to see everyday her room flooded with the same "popular" kids getting the ongoing support no other children recieved, please take this into consideration if you want to place your child here if they struggle mentally. I was also in situations throughout my time here where several "teachers" made me feel very uncomfortable. They made very questionable and gross comments/actions towards me that until I grew older I didn't realise how serious they were. Not only this the teachers were bullies themselves, I remember once being in a lesson with the teacher miss barker whom in response to me misbehaving (I was talking when I shouldn't have been) turned around to me and I quote "if I was your age I would beat you up" and continued to go on about how she doesn't like me etc all for a gag of laughs from the other students. My mother called the school up to complain about this as i was severely upset, and all they did was call me and the said teacher into a "meeting". Which was literally a 5 minute chat where we both had to apologise? shake hands etc which I was very uncomfortable with. She continued to work here even though she was a Bully who would also bully vulnerable students not just me, she once commented on a disabled boys "greasy" hair to me and my friends and laughed about his attire and appearance. This isn't the only "teacher" that I would consider a bully there's several other hurtful things that were said to me.
To top it all off when I had left school I was asked by a peer in my tutor class if I had recieved a farewell card/letter from my tutor at the time Mrs Guilman. Of course i had not, so I asked other peers of min if they had and some had where as others didn't, what she did was specifically send cards to the "popular" children and that's beyond disgusting.
On terms of the learning side honestly it wasn't awful but it wasn't the best some teachers are definitely better than others. There wasn't much choice for GCSE choices when I attended, and it's a shame because there's so many other enjoyable and rewarding subjects other schools recieved.
Towards the end of my time there (sitting my exams) again it was awful, We recieved next to no support and it is already so stressful and mentally draining enough on top of recieving no support. There's so much more things I could address about this awful school but this review has already gone on long enough. Please think hard before you consider placing your child here there's a lot more better schools out there.
