Awful school. The senco John Hackett is basically a puppet who will agree with everything you say then do absolutely nothing, and then ignore you. The head is invisible, can't even remember her name, but also tells the governors to ignore complaints. Our son only passed his GCSEs exams with private tutoring which was good considering his special needs, many of his friends need to retake either maths or English or both. Avoid!
The school has gone downhill drastically. Teachers don’t stay long, off on long term sick. Constant stream of supply teachers so children do not get solid continuity in their education.
Dr Lardner screams and shouts at pupils for no good reason.
They sweep bullying and harassment under the rug. Protecting the bullies more than the victim. You can’t get a meeting at the school to discuss as the staff just pass the buck to someone else.
Deeply disappointed in the school.
Basically their is a teacher I think called Dr Lardner screamed at my child for just picking up a glue stick and gave her a last chance immediately I would like you to fire him he apparently screamed at other children and called them pathetic can't believe you would have a teacher like that this school is a disgrace
A lot of the teachers were lovely but some were not and whenever someone got bullied it wasn't always sorted out properly because the bullying would usually continue after teachers telling them to stop. Other than bullying this was a good school.
