Absolute hell, teachers abuse their power. I'm sitting in a hallway in the pe Hall because a teacher claimed to have seen me talk when I didn't even move my mouth, and it that wasn't enough, the bullies and base are horrible. There are few good teachers, but other than that, this place is a absolute vile excuse for a school, I would never recommend this ful
solid school get on with quite a lot of the teachers that you can have a laugh with. some of them just don’t care and want their money but i’m in year 11 now and haven’t really had any major issues. so i do recommend going to #telford langley
Condemn bullying they demand respect, but they are rude to students in particular the head of years; they do not care about their students education. There is a lot of injustice on the set distribution.
Im a student at the school and all I can say is its bullsh*t. They don't do anything about bullying and if you retaliate against the bully your get more of a punishment than th bully does. 1 star
Worst school, they expect my mum to drag me into school whenever i feel too stressed snd overwhelmed to go in. They have threatened my mum that they were going to take me away from her. Bullying system is worst, been told to go back to mexico. Some teachers are alright but the rest don’t care, strict, sometimes drag you around forcefully and yell at you. Having to wait 3-4 hours to get sent home when feeling ill. They don’t care about your feelings if you are skipping, wont ask if your okay or anything so if you are feeling stressed, overwhelmed. Don’t recommend. Sort your stuff out Telford Langley.
WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND EVEN IF IT WAS THE LAST SCHOOL ON EARTH!
Terrible school, poor at supporting disabled students and value your attendance marks more than your health, physical and mental.
They give far more attention to those who don't want to learn rather than the ones who do. They care more about the students with behavior issues (there are many of them) instead of the other student's educations. If you can get anywhere else, I suggest you do so.
I have CRPS and I get rather bad pain flare ups, I ask if I could possibly go home due to the pain I'm in and the teachers say to me "you can make the rest of the day, it's only 2 more hours" Or "you can stay until 12:05 to get your afternoon attendance mark" ALL THIS SCHOOL CARES ABOUT IS YOUR ATTENDANCE. And I understand that you need to be in school to get an education, however:
1- you wouldn't get one
at this school anyway, be it a good one or not.
2- and I was in base (the place where all of the bad behaved and bullies go if they've a consequence) all day because I couldn't manage go to lessons because of the pain. I was told to do work on teams, fair enough, until I found that nothing had been put on for three and a half months for me.
It's ridiculous, I'm scared I won't be able to get into a good college because of this school and I've really began to worry about my future.
If you want a good education without it being constantly disrupted by bad behaved, disrespectful students who don't care about their future and education: THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO!
This school is excellent, food is great, teachers help you when your struggling, they deal with bullying straight away, they don’t let anything happen to other students, they give you all the support they can
umm Iam going to that school it seems like I would rather kill myself because of the reviews and probably there are peaple who would kill you for talking to them or they do weed so I dont really know why some teachers are rather dissrespectfull
Bring your child here if they want to be bullied and the teachers think telling bullies of will do anything I don’t recommend this schools shit at handling bullying. The only good thing about this school is the PE activities
hiya this is the worst school ever round England my brother gone to this school an is bullied on a daily he tells the teachers an yet they still don't do nout , this school says they don't have a 0 bullying tolerance but I've heard many people complain bout kids being bullied an teachers not doing nout , this is the worst school I've heard off round telford , they don't stick to anything they say , so my advice would be if u want your kid to be bullied send em to this school if u don't then keep em away no wonder this school has a low rating
TELFORD LANGLEY SORT YOUR SELF OUT AN ACTUALLY GET TO YOUR STANDARD LIKE U SAY U HAVE
everything this school says or says they am gonna do is all fake this school makes your kids wanner kill em self's
I recommend
U DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HEAR
personly i think this school is very because for an example if your ill most of the time you will be told to see how you feel after break then after break is over they will likely keep you in school or they wont even check up on you like they said they would
This school didn’t take my mental health seriously I was called vile, disgusting, bad influence by teachers and the teachers had at one point talked my my friends saying they shouldn’t be my friends….they didn’t take me seriously and ignored me I was badly bullied in year 7 and they did nothing about it I was threatened to be jumped and they said I was lying they did nothing about it until my mom called and had a complaint
mate there is no chicken wraps ever in school please stock up on chicken because when i fancy a chicken wrap i can’t have one.expected to eat a bloody pizza or another with wonky ham. not fair #juicyham #distraught
I started year 7 at what was then called Phoenix Academy, and throughout the years until leaving in year 11, I was bullied and ridiculed. Most teachers that were there when I was there have left so what I’m saying probably doesn’t mean anything anymore but overall the school was just terrible in every way, the teachers obviously hated their jobs and would take it out on us. The support system for students was literally crumbling, and staff didn’t care anymore. I was literally beaten up on the tennis court and was then blamed by all of my bullies saying that I was provoking, and guess what, I was suspended because they hadn’t had staff there or camera’s to vouch for me, and yes they’re supposed to have staff there because things like this happened a lot. I also had a rough patch with head lice during year seven because my younger siblings caught them a lot from primary school and so I would catch them off of them, and one specific teacher called me in to her office with my friend stood right next to me and called me out for having head lice in front of my friend, to whom she knew would spread something like that about me, and to no surprise I ended up having half of my school year knowing I had head lice. I know it’s been a few years since I’ve left but I honestly hope it’s nothing like it was when I was there because it doesn’t just take a toll on your mental health, it’s your life too. It’s almost as if they didn’t care enough about the students, and it was just a job to them.
Its alright. Lessons are good. The teachers vary in kindness and value of teaching. There are schools with better facilities but this school has helped me learn things like schools should. If your child is in the catchment area, don't worry, your child will be okay, most of the time.
bad at handling bullying and childrens mental health. find hair in food and its not nice tasting. the sports is amazing and they participate in all, there are free clubs including all sports, drama, music, art and more. the teachers make the biggest fuss over wearing coats in school. on non-school uniform days girls have dresscode and boys don’t. people get upskirted and the teachers don’t suspend them. my friend got called the ‘N’ word multiple times by the same person, including mor racist comments and still they only isolated him for one day. if you forget your pen they give you one and the science teachers are all amazing, making group work and communicating in class an every lesson thing.
Teachers pick and chose who or what they believe like for example if your someone who gets in trouble frequently they probably won't listen to you even if you have the evidence . Also some teachers will see a student blatantly kick you or punch another student ( frequently in trouble )and not do anything .Also if a student that was a 'teachers pet' and said that you had done something to them teachers would basically drop everything to attend to them and even if you had witnesses they wouldn't even hear them out because they'd think you were lying .
While I attended this school I was already had a rep for being the rebellious student, and for the first few years it was constant tag that was carried around with me mainly by certain teachers whom have left now, but from year 7 to 10 I was bullied, named and shamed, experienced a ungodly amount of racism, and each and every time the teachers knew but sat aside and did nothing so I can’t say anything about this school in a positive manner at all
The worst school I have ever come across the teachers are very unprofessional and do not follow school procedures then actually lie to get themselves out of situations! Poor kids that go there have no choice
