The Stables Day Nursery Swinton Ltd

I have recently removed my child from this place, the last few months has been a horrendous. Incidents such as my child slipping banging his head that no one saw that then had to be reviewed on cctv to then being bitten sevreal times once three times in one day. It's Evrey parents worse nightmare to get a call saying your child is in the back of ambulance on the way to salford royle with a toy stuck in his mouth! the paramedic on scene couldnt remove it so was rushed to A&E. Completely failed with the level of care, each time incidents reported were watered down with excuses and no responsibility severe incopmitence is a understament. I feel guilty sending my child here advice to anyone considering this place avoid!

My child came home numerous times with unexplained injurys, cuts to the face, swollen head due to her being allowed to climb on a wet train in the rain and falling on gravel and not one staff member being there to catch her, there was extremely poor communication, a voice mail of her key worker saying nothing serious has happened but shes had a little fall, shes fine so therefore i thought oh she must have just banged her leg or something, in my horror when i picked her up, her face was an absolute mess! The staff member that handed her to me was extremely patronising and said well i wasnt there so what do you want me to do? Erm go get me someone who was?. I understand accidents happen I get that. However there was hardly ANY communication, it was always me chasing them to see what had happened and being replied too days later. Things constantly got lost, nappies, wellies etc. Staff were not interested at all, they made me feel like I was bothering them, constantly gas lighting me and manipulating me to feel it was all in my head and whenever I had meetings about the standard of care my child was receiving it was the same robotic excuses from mangement that were human, mistakes happen. Which is true and I fully understand, however you should ensure good communication is given everytime an accident does happen and surly you would want to ensure if there is an issue with the communication and care would try to be improved to prevent a situation like this in the future? I would never ever want another parent to endure what I endured. When I read that report I was physically sick, as every concern I ever had and expressed to the management was highlighted within that report and my instincts were RIGHT. My child now goes to a new nursery and she absolutely loves it! Please please please do your research about good nurserys in the area as this is not one of them.

Beautiful setting , caring staff, Early Years Teacher and great app to keep uptodate with my little one .

Please ignore the vindictive review below. The nursery has suffered from a high staff turnover but the new team are wonderful and caring.

I’ve never had one issue and any incidents are accidents are reported the same day.

Would not recommend this nursery under qualified staff incidents covered up on a regular basis no duty of care staff come and go on a regular basis !!!
