The Rowans Day Nursery

This nursery is by far the worst nursery I have ever worked at… they only care about them self and money… the staff are treated like animals and. A lot are very devoted to there kids where as some other just sit around and tell children to shut up..

Management. Don’t get me started they all slag off everyone and make you feel worthless and they act like they care they really don’t.
They don’t have anything for the children o play with or to learn with and only like to show of the nursery for being clean and showing it off for people to come thinking they are bees knee…. Quite frankly I would not ever send anyone here if they asked me my opinion on nursery’s and I would avoid no matter what…. Don’t ever let your child go here or bet yet lets your self go through the touchier they put you through

My daughter told me she's afraid of one of the middle aged staff as she always shouting and planishing kids. She went to this Rowan's nursery when she's 2, and when she's 3 we took her to a school nursery. Until then she realised that teachers can be very nice and patient to preschool kids rather than just shouting.

Worst nursery I have ever visited. Management tell staff to just hold children down and shove the food in their mouths if they won’t eat it. Most staff are underpaid apprentices. The manger is rude, patronising and she insists on underpaying all staff and only hiring apprentices. Avoid at all costs. Especially if you are looking to work here or send your child here.

As a former worker, I have to say most problems lie with management. They insist on recruiting more apprentices than qualified staff, they talk down to staff and don't value the role they do, there is no consideration for you as a person nor the fact you yourself might be a parent. Management are rude, aren't eager for you to progress...they also don't give you the time if you are undertaking an apprenticeship with your assessor that you need to complete the qualification. The main boss is a former army sergeant and he speaks to the staff very strictly and abruptly. His partner isnt much better and completely up herself and devoid of feeling.There's so much more I could say and none of it is good. Their staff turn around is quite high. Children need stability and a good nursery is only as good as its management.
