My time here
This school is really bummy. It made me depressed and I wanted to do some bad things. I remember one of my MALE teachers flirting with me and asked for my number. I couldn’t believe my ears. I went home and cried that day. The safeguarding team is inappropriate and discarded my situation. I never felt more alone. Save your kids and never go here. The good reviews are a lie.
horrid experience
I feel violated. I was in my maths class and a teacher very obviously bent over in front of me and let out a sloppy, wet, crunchy fart into my face. I am mentally unstable from this situation. Never go here and if you are thinking about letting your kids go then DONT.
appalling
terrible school. unhealthy food that made my friend very obese. teachers are incoherent and not funny. way too strict and one teacher spanked my friends bum in class
NEVER GO HERE
Absolute horror. The teachers here are abnoxious and have no respect for any student. I remember one of them threw a meter stick at one of my mates and shouted some horrible names at him. I’m couldn’t have asked for a worse learning experience.

the teachers at this school drive me absolutely mental. they won't let you do anything fun at all. wanna go on the field ? nah sorry . what about play football ? are you mental. this school is absolutely nutty. way too strict. focused more on rules than teaching. total drivel . HATE IT! with a passion
Rather good, I'd definitely reccomend it
Wasn't a bad experience. The school has definitely changed since i joined in year 7 mostly for the better but in some circumstances i must disagree.
Food is decent
Teachers are hit or miss, some great teachers although some i'm not personally keen on.
Homework is typically alright although most teachers nowdays punish with afterschools if faliure to hand in so its a good incentive to make you do so. This is typically alright but sometimes it can become extremely difficult to balance everything.
Corridors are all painted white with no decoration which is enough to send anyone insane

I moved to this school a couple years in and I couldn’t have asked for more, I rated a 5/5 because whenever an issue is brought up the school is quick to handle it. The teachers are amazing too as if there’s an issue in the class you can easily talk to them or email about it, they are strict but fair.
The food is also good as it has a wide range for all students whenever.
The homework is there, however it’s only set when necessary and it’s never “too much”.
I’ve really enjoyed my experience here and so have most of my year.

A great option to consider!
Having moved to this school very late at the start of secondary school, I love this school. The teachers see potential in you and they recommend what they can in situations to the best of their ability.
The Inclusion department are the nicest people I've met - once you have a teaching assistant in your class, you feel a bond with them.
My favourite lesson would be Dance because of the large studio space we have. It is something other schools don't have (or even don't do on the curriculum) that I like about this school.
The canteen - if that's something important to you - has amazing food from breakfast to break and lunch. They offer vegetarian/vegan options and can cater to specific allergies upon request.
I gave this school a 4/5 rating because some students do ruin the experience in terms of classwork and noise - although very rarely. I have had some issues with a particular teacher but the school were very quick to respond to the formal complaint sent in about them.
Positioned in a lovely area of Market Harborough too, a 20 minute walk from the station and a 10 minute walk from town. I have made some great friends here too!

For me my teachers would read off a PowerPoint slide and wouldnt understand peoples questions. Would mark papers with really low scores and show nothing to improve on. If you had a senior member of staff like someone who works very high up in the schools authority then the least likely they were to help you in your education. For example giving no feedback or having the time to go over things with you, if they don’t have the time they shouldn’t be a teacher flat out simple.
This school heavily requires improvement, it pushes its sixth form but neglects all sixth formers. Giving them no help in class and forced into tiny working environments like upstairs in sixth form, downstairs, or Bragg Hall. For two years of sixth from with over 400 people there simply isn’t the room. Additionally there is rarely any food left after the first five minutes of lunch. Making a multitude of children go hungry, the toilet doors are broken and there’s normally a variety of vandalism everywhere.
During fire drills there’s no attendance taken, my friend was stuck in the toilet due to the fact a teacher locked the door without checking if someone was in there. She had no way out and nobody checked due to the fact there’s no registers. (She had her phone on her so she eventually did get out by calling a friend).
If there’s any sexual assault allegations the safeguarding team will say “is it not just flirting gone wrong?” And insinuate you’re in the wrong for being assaulted.
