This school is terrible don't send your kid here if you don't want complaints every time they get back home.
The teachers always tell you it's ok to be unique but you get bullied when you are and when you tell a teacher about it they don't do anything. They say "we'll speak to them about it" but never do.
Teaching isn't too bad, but learning often gets disrupted by other students, or the teachers just don't get a chance to help you when you are struggling. They will accuse you of not paying attention to the lesson, even if you were.
There's also a lot of racism, homophobia, and other kind of things that are related so can you please at least try and put a stop this?
Also, I'm completely convinced that teachers/ other workers at this school don't care about there students, and only do the job they do because it gets them money. They say they care about our wellbeing and health, but they just ignore us when we bring up a problem.
Teachers will tell you to "stand up for yourself" and "tell a teacher" but whenever we tell a teacher or stand up for ourselves, we get a detention. So really, is there any point even trying to get help at this school? No. They don't listen.
YOU CAN'T EVEN BE YOURSELF. DIFFERENT RACE? DISCRIMINATED. LGBTQ? DISCRIMINATED. UNDER/OVERWEIGHT? DISCRIMINATED? DRESS IN DIFFERENT WAYS TO OTHERS? DISCRIMINATED. LISTEN TO DIFFERENT MUSIC? DISCRIMINATED.
Basically, what I'm saying is, teachers and students at this school will find ANYTHING to pick on you for. So if you want your kids to be happy and be themselves, don't send them to this school. They will hide who they are and they will be silenced by the people around them.
Also, there's a problem with sexualizing children here, as I've noticed. Hold a FRIENDS hand? "Inappropriate!" Hug a FRIEND who isn't in a good mood and needs reassuring? "Inappropriate!"
I hope you see where I'm going here. We're children.
Just PLEASE. I'M BEGGING YOU. Don't bring your children here.
the school is so bad, they don’t care about anyone’s wellbeing they just care about how the skl looks when visitors come they only act nice and pretend to care whilst visitors are around school, the teachers are horrible they don’t support children they scream at us for no reason and barley teach us anything everyone gets treated badly most children there are depressed and the school is trampy they have no control over the kids we all run around doin what we want
Queen Elizabeth school is a disgrace, bullying not dealt with, children attacked when leaving school, leading to hospital treatment, and fractures,if you love your child DO NOT SEND THEM TO QUEEN ELIZABETH
This school is absoloitley horrible. I was there yesterday and some kid tried to bully my brother. He punched him so I ran up and punched him in the back of the head and then this girl pushed me over with my knees bloodied up and started pulling my hair and fractured my arm. Yes I waited in the hospital for more than 3 hours. They say "have pride and be unique" but they don't even have pride themselves and when your actually different and unique when your trying to express yourself, you just get bullied and the teachers don't even try and do anything about it. PLEASE don't send your children here. I've actually moved schools yesterday and in home schooled due to past experiences. Oh. And the hygiene isn't even good. The toilets and classrooms are always dirty and horrible and the toilets always stink. The teachers will never do anything about your issues so don't trust them and they give you detention over the smallest things. I got a detention for dropping a pen. It's pathetic.
After a concerning incident involving one of their students repeatedly attempting to damage properties on our street, we reached out to the school via email. Unfortunately, we received no acknowledgment of our message until we followed up with a phone call.
This lack of communication from the staff is disappointing and raises concerns about their responsiveness. If you are considering this school, please be aware of the potential challenges in receiving timely and appropriate responses or any response at all to important matters.
I dont like the hygiene. The detention giving us absolutely terrible and they literally "scream at us" about pride and being unique when they can't even do that themselves.
the queen Elizabeth academy is nothing short off atrocious, The schools hygiene is dreadful with the state of toilets being awful. The school has had cases of tampons, sex toy boxes, pregnancy tests and the vaping issue is getting out of control with most if not all of the students hot box the toilets. In my personal experiences I've seen 7 female students come out of one toilet with a massive gust of smoke behind them.
Not only that but the teachers have very little or no regard for the care of there students they claim that they want to inspire uniqueness and personality but when you actually express your personality and feelings you get punished. The school is riddled with hypocritical teachers with the SLT also being no use in situations of stress. They are useless when it comes to helping the students in the school there has been cases of domestic abuse, teachers making sexual comments towards students not only that but the school has had some confrontations with sexual assault.
they are all for pride and equality yet when any cases of racism, homophobia, transsexuals' abuse and much more having too much to list on a single review.
They show a complete lack of interest in peoples mental health and have had times where they've asked students how they're going to kill themselves. Further more the teaching in the school is very poor and they show more care for there next pay check appose to the students learning.
Sorry for the fact this is very short and doesn't provide much information about the school but personally I would rather send my children into a death camp than send them to this hell hole.
At this school over the years has been an excellent experience and I've enjoyed it so far. However whilst being at this school me and my friends have noticed a lack of lessons promoting Diversity and some of my friends are finding it tough being themselves due to the lack of understanding that other students have towards these important topics and feel like they may be judged and/or bullied. The rest of the school is great in most areas but as a suggestion and a beg from the students affected there needs to be a giant improvement with diversity as soon as possible.
As a old student of the academy i left because the teachers were never there when you needed them . The teachers couldn’t notice bullying i once told a teacher about someone being bullied and i watched them walk up to the group and then start talking to another group of kids . The teachers weren’t helpful when you asked for help . The detentions were given out for no reason and when someone did something wrong they didn’t do much about it just gave them a C1 . They have stupid ways of handling things such as if someone was disturbing the lesson they have to call other teachers to handle it instead of doing it themselves . It could just be the way i see the school but i know people still there and they are having the same experience as me
As a student at TQEA, I do have to say that you honestly can't trust any adults, teachers are never there when you need them and just tell you off if you request help. The giving out of detentions is terrible, as they only give them out when it's honestly not necessary. Most subs don't even teach us, they just mess around and never try and teach us the material. There is also a lot of body shaming, racism and bullying that never gets pointed out.
Overall, I am INCREDIBLY disappointed with my school, they yell at us about pride but they can't even do themselves. This needs to stop. I wish I went to Polesworth instead.
