i’m not a fan
i’m really not a fan of the school the teachers can be rude and disrespectful towards students but the students get told off for it and they don’t care about students mental health
Could be worse
Going into fourth year at the school. Not impressed. What I haven’t liked is that at the start of year 7 you get bombarded with your predicted GCSE grade, 4 Years before taking them! Also, they must cramp down on bullying with a better approach . Finally, the teachers NEED to be more assertive towards girls, a not constantly pick on boys. I know it’s a cliché, but it is appalling how much more lenient the teachers are towards girls.
Perfect School
Absolutely love this school, I am in my final year of secondary (year eleven). I have been going here since year seven. I have really enjoyed my time here. It’s a lovely school, It’s quite big but you’ll easily find your way around it within your first couple of weeks. The school offers plenty of great subjects at GCSE like business and A-levels too, as well as many extra curricular activities at lunch times and after school. Most of the teachers and staff are ever so kind and will go above and beyond to help students, and make your time here the best one. I will really really miss the Purbeck School when I leave, partially a lot of the teachers who have always been so lovely to myself and other. I wish I could stay here forever! I hope to stay for sixth form too. Thank you to the Purbeck School for making my time here the best!
Review
I've been at the school now for a while I'm just starting my fourth year. People complain about the teachers fussi giver the wrong things just get over it.
Provide more for people who need it.
The school needs to start knuckling down on kids who need it stop making a fuss if someone has branded socks on instead focus on the students which keep being disrupting in class. It’s not fair on the rest of us. Another point is help the students who need it some of us actually need to be pushed to our full ability and if your just congratulating the smart kids and ignoring the rest of us that’s not going to help.
Lovely school
I’ve been going to this school for about 3 years now and I have learnt a lot and really enjoyed my time here. I will miss this school when I leave in year 11. I hope I can stay on to sixth form too. It’s generally a lovely school and offers a lot. Most of the teachers are kind and caring and do a lot to help everyone, I’ll definitely miss my favourite teacher who’s inspired me a lot.
