Bullying does happen and is not dealt with enough. some staff challenge pupils and often don't allow them to say their point as they think they're correct as they're adults and when taken to higher members of staff it isn't taken seriously enough, which can also lead to students feeling bullied by some staff, breaks and dinners seem to get shorter all the time and there is never enough food for all students. Some teachers are good at teaching and understanding situations and do give students a voice but others don't which is unfair and not looked into within the school. Marvell does have a range of subjects for options in GCSE's for students to chose from. Overall, do wish there was the choice of which school for me personally as I wouldn't have been there but don't think it's the worst school in the UK but definitely not one of the best in my opinion.
To all new pupils, the teachers are amazing if you keep on their good side, however don’t go getting into fights in year 7 it won’t be in your favour when it comes to explaining what’s happened my friend used to get bullied but the bully was treated like the victim as they told teachers first, if your getting picked on tell a teacher or parent/guardian straight away
