The teachers at the school including the senior management team have failed a number of the children in recent years with bullying of both parents and children, threatening letters and e-mails sent to parents, a failure to provide adequate outdoor learning experiences for the children (30 minutes at the end of the day, once a week for one half term in the entire year is not enough at all, especially when 30-60 children are being provided this at a time). A consistent failure to consider the needs of children with special needs and a dismissive attitude towards bullying of children and parents who are deemed as 'different.' This has led to children having to have over a week off school due to assault at school resulting in concussion and potential brain injury and items that are required to support children in their learning being taken from them and lost either through school negligence or as a result of forceably being taken from them due to bulling. I no longer feel my children are safe at the school.
The teachers at the school bully parents and mistreat children with special educational needs including losing any specialist equipment the children may have. Would not recommend. They have a large outdoor area that they fail to use effectively and providing only 30 minutes of outdoor learning 10 times yearly to classes of over 30 children is completely inadequate and shows only lip service to the mental health of the children in their care. Bullying by children towards their peers and by teachers towards children and parents is rife and considered acceptable by the senior team, who consistently fail to parental concerns resulting in issues such as children suffering from concussion following assault whilst at school.
