Barely got my GCSEs. Mostly depressing to be honest. Horrible students.

Dreadful school, does not protect children from bullying. They simply brush any reports of bullying under the carpet. Allowing the bullying to continue for years & damaging the mental and physical health of the students all to facilitate a good ousted review. Most of the teachers are great but the school leadership needs to take a much firmer stance in the bullying behaviour of certain students & listen to the victims of the bullying & do something about it to protect them.

I don’t even know where to begin with this
•I learnt nothing when I asked for help I was told to just try my best only a few teachers would help and be nice but they soon left because of how poorly they were treated
•seen as a number not a human being!
•rumours of sa from teachers (I say rumours bc idk for sure but every rumour has some truth to it so do what you will with that info)
•bullied by teachers and students
•counselling was horrid told me everything I said would be confidential then ran to my parents and told them everything (thanks I suffered at home bc of that)
•detention over anything (1-3 hours would have to walk home at dark)
•food was poison got sick all the time
•literal prison wasn’t allowed to go outside for break/lunch
•SEN department of students don’t even get treat like humans
•got bullied for being gay and so many others did too constant harassment because I like women (NO ONE DID ANYTHING ABOUT THAT)
•didn’t learn anything to do with real life
•sex ed had one class and it was “how to put a condom on” they never told us anything else
•students who acted out constantly got all the praise while students who did all the work and not complain and so on and so on DIDNT get anything!

I think that covers almost everything! I was a student here like 2-3 years ago so I don’t know if anything has changed but it’s probably got worse!

My son isn't an angel ill admit that but he gets no support off the teachers what so ever,rather than sit him down and actually ask him what is wrong they just put him in isolation all day and 2 hour detentions after school,absolute joke.my son is so unhappy at kings all because there is no support for him and he just feels like he can't do anything right.kids who have issues need support and kings hasn't got the support to offer kids with issues.ive even phoned school today because my son is texting me constantly saying to go and get him because he hates that school .I asked nicely on the phone if one of the teachers could go in and just talk to him and I said he needs some support and she just didn't seem interested,said I'll get someone to call you back but as expected no call yet.

Poor/no communication with parents about their children, mostly irrelevant junk. The school uses various different apps that are all rubbish and constantly ask you to pay to remove ads/get extra features. School is run like a prison, where the children are punished when struggling and offered little if no support (only care about the high grade children). A few good teachers that struggle and eventually leave because of the crappy way the school is run by the leadership team. Over the last four years since the good ofsted rating the school really has gone downhill, time for ofsted to vist again.

rude staff, awful food, didn’t learn much, smelt bad.
