The John Wallis Church of England Academy

So where do I start, My daughter attended this academy, and from day 1 she experienced nothjing buit a disgusting hell, their Anti bullying policy may as well be used for the toilet paper in their facilities
If it wasn't the bullying from year 7 which went unattended for so long that it was laughable, that after the incident with the pandemic the bullying extended to a level so disgusting that she was abandoned due to fake social media accounts making which had her receiving death threats and the traditional kill yourself messages that occur that the school chose to do nothing after the social media sites refused to close the fake accounts down and the police done nothing this so called school as a last result done NOTHING... however; when she was accused of having a knife on her every day for months (which she never had) she was dragged out of lesson and searched multiple times daily, was put into isolation away from her education whilst those who had commited themselves to being bullying little scum went unpunished. The head master was more concerned with his publicity and the year heads turned a blind eye to the serious issues, and when she refused to attend school they would threaten us with fines and social services dispite the issues and reasons, no other school had placements so she was stuck sadly.

On top of all of this, she lost her 2 biological grandfathers and a step-grandfather all of whom she was very close to and this disgrace of a school done nothing to help her, no support, no councilling NOTHING... yet they were commended for implimenting the mobile phone pockets that the head master was so proudly posing for.


I know schools have changed over the years and no child is ever innocent, but this school doesn't even deserve 1 star.

My family and I moved from Germany to the UK when I was 12, and this was the first school I went to. On the very first day, a much older child made a joke to me about my German heritage. This continued with many kids, bullying me very severely over that, making jokes about Hi*ler etc. The bullying got so bad, that I stopped speaking. I developed an eating disorder too. I was not able to make friends, and spent every single breaktime by myself. Furthermore, I distinctly remember regularly doing sports lessons outside, in the coldest of winter, whilst the warm building nearby was empty. This was especially hard as an underweight child with an eating disorder. Very unethical and questionable. The children were truly evil and horrible, we complained to the teachers but nothing was done. Ultimately, the bullying got so bad, we had to leave the school after a year. Would absolutely not recommend, very very bad place. Also they no longer accept google reviews. Hmm interesting..

They let all the naughty children get away with everything. They like to pick on certain students. Miss Emily White bumlicks the bad children, but when it comes to the good ones she comes for them when they talk once in her classroom. As someone who has seen the sixth form. The head Miss Powell is extremely bossy, and is such a control freak. She also picks and chooses who she wants to complain at. If she gave the same energy, maybe she would be alright, but she needs to tone it down a bit. I used to respect her so much until she started letting a whole bunch of girls get away with disrespecting her, and treats everyone else like trash. She should be taken away from year head, and a more fairer person like Miss Meredith should be put on, due to her keeping the same energy with everyone, no matter what
