The JCB Academy

As a student that is currently attending this school, I wouldn't suggest sending your child here if you care for them especially their metal health. While I have attended this school its only gotten worse. Most teachers have favourites and there is regular fights and ALOT of racism, homophobia, transphobia the list goes on. in hind sight if the teachers cared a little more then the school would be grate but quite frankly the teachers just don't care really their are some good ones ill admit but certain teahers such as miss bailey will try and lie to get you in more trouble she even walks around school without her shoes on. seriously an appalling school.

As a parent of a student currently at the JCB Academy I feel very let down. The teaching staff are not very nice, they don't follow the academy's own procedures and if you raise a query they all cover for each other. You are promised such good education for your child and this is really not provided. My child has gained lower grades and lower expectations since joining the academy. I really would not recommend, unless you want disappointment after disappointment. The Principal is just as poor as the rest of the teaching staff.

Absolutely shocking, been there since Y9 and I left in Y11 despite the racial abuse from teachers that wasn’t acknowledged in any of the 45 reports made to senior leadership, because if I’m “not black it’s not racism”. When we would make statements they would write them for us or they would punish you for disagreeing with them. The school like that is a school where you WILL get bullied for something small, you will get bullied to hell for being another race, gay or female. I do not know about any transgender people who went to the school so I’m not sure what will happen, I’m pretty sure nothing good will come though. The school oppresses any freedom or rights you may have, and will also make false claims against you and open cases to suspend you if you complain about a member of staff - which I did, and was suspended for. The school cannot handle online learning and was really bad for it, quoted by my current friends and family there. If you aren’t; white, skinny, straight, good at sport, disrespectful as heck. Then do not go, their security is shocking. There is a metal fence leading to their main courtyard where people can literally hop over, it’s about 0.7m tall. Only thing they’re good at is their food, and that’s an external company.
