Gone downhill...
I was a student here from 2014 to 2020. The first two years were great until the head changed and then it declined FAST. Despite this some teachers were still amazing and I came out with good results. I continued to sixth form and sadly near the end of year 12 SLAT and the school decided to kick the whole sixth form out. Half way through my Alevels, a year gone to waste, no closure and no say in my education they refused to offer the education THEY PROMISED (even SLAT promised to improve sixth form for us when they were looking round the school). Them forcing us to leave has caused me to be in an educational environment that has destroyed me as a person and severely impacted my education. They clearly didn’t have a care in the world for their sixth formers, washing their hands of us and not even continuing the promises they made when they did so. I just to support that school when others were bad mouthing it, not anymore they’ve destroyed me and so many others.
Not a great school
Ever since SLAT has taken over they have very little care for mental well being of the students and treat any SEN students with little care to.
Feels like a prison with little freedom would NOT recommend has there are much better schools out there.
