As a student who attended this wonderful College for years 12 and 13, I can say that the best years of my life were in this very place. The teachers treat you like an equal and speak to you as an adult (as it should be in A-Level/College education). They provide incredible support when needed, and they ensure that you are made to feel that your opinion is valued. Everyone is so kind and approachable, this place is truly a rare kind of special.

The performing arts in this college are absolutely extravagant. Each year you have events such as 'Night At The Musicals' and a dance and music show (which are named something different every year). Not only are the performers showcasing their incredible talents, but those who take production design also showcase their artistic abilities in the set, props and lighting. The events that this college holds are something you don't want to miss. Unfortunately, it's hard to fund these events due to lack of government funding for the creative industry, so if you're reading this, from reader to reader (who I assume is also passionate about something creative in the industry), please go to the ESA website and donate if you can. I'd hate to see my old college throw away incredible opportunities for the students who are still there because of reasons they cannot control!

The amount of opportunities both me and my peers were given, opened up our eyes to the real world and allowed more and more opportunities to unfold. Unlike many other institutes of learning, you are not restricted to conforming to rules that force you to "fit in". You are allowed to have your hair any way you feel most comfortable, do your makeup as extravagant as you feel artistic, and just feel so free to be your most authentic self.

If you are thinking about sending your child here, I implore you to do so. It is an incredible college, and your child will make so many memories here and step into who they really are. As a 16 year old I lacked so much confidence, but leaving this college at the end of year 13, I found my voice. I can only thank the teachers and the supportive environment they have created.
