how bad dukeries academy is
it’s honestly the worse place on earth, teachers has been suspended and fired for touching students and assaulting them which i think is disgusting. they get so annoyed when girls have makeup or eyelashes or nails on they make them spend the day in ie till the wipe or take them off which is pathetic. this school is a hell whole. makes kids want to commit suicide. would not recommend. the school means are great they have veggie kind and meat kind of foods that the only good but

This school is so bad they ban lashes and nails first of lashes don’t even distract your learning nails they can be a little bit but like still I hat this school so much

Horrible school not changed in 30 plus years
Bullying so bad staff do nothing even with video evidence the bully wasn’t punished, property stolen, children not safe, school is dirty over 4 months a used sanitary towel was stuck under a table my child was made to sit at despite alerting teachers multiple times it was there everywhere is grimy cleaners obviously don’t clean, insufficient time for lunch lack of serving staff to get through serving pupils as only one canteen for a whole school many times my children end up no lunch as lunch over before there served, lots of the food isn’t nice either. Lack of teaching quality my child doing a levels has had a proper teacher for most of the year and who they got now isn’t even a qualified teacher teaching it just a student teacher who isn’t even training in that subject trying to teach it this will fail them for university many teachers just hand out print outs saying read that as a lesson school needs knocking down and all new staff and lots of cctv in hall ways in classrooms and school driveway to see who the bully’s are.
If you can avoid sending your child their do so it’s a horrible school
There’s around a tiny handful of nice good teachers but only a very few and they are stretched but the majority of teachers are terrible in teaching following policies and helping kids
The head teacher avoids parents and is unreachable and does very little to help anything or any students

Experience at the dukeries Acadamy
The school was run down and poorly maintained back in 2016 to 2021 . The toilet’s were very dirty and unpleasant for students to use . The staff very much wasn’t interested in teaching and were boring . The only good thing about this school was our drama lessons with my favourite two teachers who took as to many theatre shows the only school trips I ever attended. The teachers had no compassion for students struggling and basically didn’t care for the well-being of students all they cared about was not wearing coats inside in which the school was freezing . As my final year in 2021 the new headteacher started to turn the school around and make vast improvement by re decorating and changing standards I think if I was still there it would be a lot more of a positive environment.

Would not send an animal to your academy disgusting treatment to a ten year old with special need. I am disgusted that anyone gets treated that way let alone a child with special needs.
