Student Support Centre was so bad as they seemed uninterested in the students. Work was boring but I got decent grades so that wasn't a problem. The students were quite rude ESPECIALLY the y7s but that's probably a parental issue not a school issue. School had good clubs and trips available. Overall a average experience, I liked one of the Math teachers and one of the English teachers the best because they supported me through a tough time more than actual student support. Most of the teachers were cool and I liked the lunch staff too.
My Daughter previously attended a grammar school until we moved to the area and we was apprehensive moving her - but it was the best decision we made. She is flying! The teachers are supportive & enthusiastic and our daughter is thriving. When we visited the school to look round, it was the Headteacher himself, Mr Brand who took the time out of his busy schedule to show off this amazing school to us, he answered all of out questions and our daughter joined the following term. 100% recommend this school for your child.
This school that's massively changed in the last few years and there's now turned into a safe haven, nurturing and caring environment.
I would not hesitate to recommend the school.
The staff both teaching and administration are very kind. Considerate and do that at most to help both parents and students.
This school had gotten so much better in the time I've been there. The teachers care about the students and most of they love their job. The kids can be disruptive but that's life. Can not fault the teachers
A very underestimated school with incredibly caring, smart and innovative teachers. The whole system includes all students allowing them to feel comfortable whilst striving for the best possible grades for them as an individual.
