Overall good school

Commonweal is quite a good school overall. Most teachers explain things well however, a handful of teachers make the subjects much harder to understand and remember because of their way of teaching and explaining. The environment is quite clean but the cleanliness and durability of the girls toilets could definitely be improved. I've not really had any problems with other students in the school. The school canteen's prices for food and drink are too expensive though.

Excellent school with a strong identity and role in the community. Enjoyed my time there and it seems to have got even better since.

just bad

Did not enjoy my 5 years that much at all, teachers were very biased, and some quite rude. Piled on exams and homework and I never truly learnt anything! Glad to finally have left!

extremely poor

the school never helped with my serious bullying that lasted two years and never took mental health seriously, when we told the school i was being bullied the only thing they said was to “toughen up” and “well we can’t really do anything about students being horrible” . the teaching staff always had go to students for every single good opportunity and the others never got to experience anything.

Not a good experience

I was never properly helped when it came to my mental healthy or physical health. The counselling was awful and basically helped nothing.the teacher weren't very helpful and instead of calmly resolving they just screamed. I left the school worse than I started as well as the teachers would go on holidays In the middle of the year and them randomly come back in. I was confused and it was overall such a horrible experience

too many chavs

the school itself is alright but some of the most clapped people go here i swear they’re so mf stupid it’s actually sad. The amount of pick me’s there are is tremendous and some people just make me want to delete my existence. Overall good school, just dumb students really

Ok, but

Ok, all the teachers are good overall. However, there is still a decent amount homophobia and racism. The school does try to do something about the racism but has never done anything about the homophobia. The safeguarding is not bad, but if could be a lot better than it is.

Commonweal

It’s a nice place, the teachers are all really friendly and the atmosphere is nice to be in. Although I feel like there could be less peer pressure and the toilets are not exactly nice.
C6 is good, in my opinion it’s a lot better than being in the main school.
