Its horrible there when i went there i was begging my mum not to send me there because of the teachers and students there. The teachers do nothing about any of the issues going on like bullying, homophobia, racism ect. I went there for 7 months and only attended for 3 it was that bad, i heavily don’t recommend this school and the fact that police are always there made me feel unsafe with the students and teachers.
This school is absolutely horrible they do nothing about bullying and harassment even tho people report it many times. There is litter everywhere, bins nocked over with rubbish coming out of them.
I could go on for pages but I won't but I would not send my child here when I have one. Wouldn't recommend this school to anyone.
Cheadle was good, a few minor mishaps at my time there.
During covid they fell abit behind on the bullying and harrasment issues especially with me I ended up being attacked nearly every single day and not wanting to come into school but because of the government's regulations it limited to schools power. They managed to sort it once the restrictions had lifted abit more.
Allover it was lovely besides a few bullies
this school is absolutely shit, yes there are some nice teachers who actually treat u like u have rights, but the majority of them don’t.
when bullying occurs, they do nothing at all even after serval meetings and hundreds of phone calls. They do not allow nose studs/ extra earrings and send you straight to isolation if you refuse taking it out? they ‘preach’ about creativity and happiness, although it’s all bullshit.
recently, since covid 6 teachers all crowd around the front gate with a huge bin bag and anyone who walks into the school with a hoodie they snatch it off them and causing cross contamination by layering pieces of clothing into a single bin bag, and to make it even worse, the door is 2 minutes away from the front gate, especially in the winter it’s freezing yet they expect someone to walk 2 minutes without nothing but a thin blazer, yet the teachers are stood with warm drinks and huge coats on.
And yes, students could bring a coat in other than a hoodie, but keep in mind some can’t afford uniform ( which costs around 140) never mind a 90 pound coat.
If ur looking for a school, do not come to this one. They refuse to expel students who cause problems and instead shout at those who wear stuff like:
extra earrings
Black airforces (which do look like school shoes)
nose studs
hoodies
and a girl wearing trousers which are even the smallest big skinny is even seen as “non uniform”
This school is absolutely shit when it comes to dealing with bullying or harassment and the students are absolute nightmares the massive amount of transphobia is unbelievable the principal treats students like garbage and overall I highly do not recommend you go this school
Head teacher treats the students like they’re nothing but appears nice to parents. Some teachers are lovely but a few don’t really teach, they just tend to have a chat with the children about irrelevant things. Some classes had more lessons with cover teachers than with their actual one. I was a high achieving student but completely lost hope in the school so ended up teaching myself a lot of things. Most classrooms don’t have any blinds so on sunny days students can’t see the whiteboard. School randomly invested in new doors that make the school feel like a prison rather than spending money on the things that actually matter like... EDUCATION.
Don’t think there is really much hope in any of the schools in Cheadle so it’s worth travelling elsewhere.
