tried to off myself like three times while i attended this school would not recommend bit miserable nice cookies tho i suppose also i had to google what the right spelling of recommend actually was so i guess that says something about how good the education is
It was the best school my children attended! This is both my opinion and theirs!
Everyone, starting with the Headteacher Mrs. Woodfin, are not only highly competent teachers but also wonderful and warm people. The care and dedication that this school showed us towards is unparalleled. #BulmershePride
@TheBulmersheSch Thank you for all your support! We miss you a lot !
Was quite good. But slowly found more and more staff unresponsive and hiding behind bureaucracy. Students not really supported anymore. More like a factory. Also difficult to contact the school or find out how we as parents can help our children in study. Almost apathy about supporting. A lot of bureaucracy rather than “can do”. Why not go back to good ways from a few years ago.
I attended this School between 1981 to 1988 as a student.I have experienced the worst racism as I was from a minority group. The teachers never supported me infact they encouraged the division.I do not know how it is now but the reason I gave 1 star is from my experience.I suppose it has got better but I never forgive to the teachers who turned blind eye to recism and bully.
As a student at the Bulmershe school, I would say some parts about the school is really excellent but some aspects about the school and teachers lack, mostly staff/teachers are pretty good we have some outstanding teachers who work so hard and really do care about the students where others aren’t so good and you learn literally nothing and they couldn’t care less about you, your mental health or grades a few teachers can also be a bit selfish as well as the students of course but I think some of the teachers just don’t understand that school is hard and it’s especially hard if your having struggles at home which some of the teachers wouldn’t even believe it cause it’s so bad, coming into school when you have struggles at home is such a massive achievement but when teachers put you down or just aren’t understanding because they think “oh there children there life is perfect they have no worries” which is utterly wrong sometimes “children” have to act as the “parent” in a home because of issues which can cause severe mental health issues which I have, don’t get me wrong some of the teachers are very understanding and will just care and just be there for you if you need them and are just incredible and put 100% and more care into there work and as a student having teachers like that is amazing having that extra support from and adult as a child can mean the world especially if you have no one to turn to/talk to but I also think not only just in Bulmershe there’s pressure to students in body image and stereotypes because of social media and in every school your going to have mean, nasty and just cruel people that judge you and put you down that’s just life but for a student…a child having that pressure can seriously affect you luckily at Bulmershe we have the Ivory team who are so so so lovely and really care about the students and there well being and mental health I just wish some of the other teachers who teach lessons were more understanding and showed that they actually care
