Please do not send your child here if they have SEN needs. The way they handle bullying is so poor, they way they handle SEN is again very poor and the teachers are overall just old school. The way they teach is awful and I never had a good lesson, I was there for 7 years. Some breaktime staff will take away your snack bars if they are chocolate and eat them themselves, the PE teacher clearly has favourites and calls students names (such as stupid) and some of the teacher assistants don't really understand how to help a child with additional needs. I was bullied a lot in that school and I now how complex PTSD (I'm now in year 9) I was bullied for 3 years straight and every time I told someone they just played it off as an 'outburst'.
So please think before you send your child to this school.
