The teachers are horrible and the staff who are supposed to help with emotional support etc are the worst help ever, I even once heard them talking about how annoying a student that had left was when he couldn’t exactly help it. The bullying isn’t taken seriously and the food is overpriced and awful, even at a low price it would still not be worth it. Additionally, majority of the toilets stay locked and get crowded in between lessons and they recently made it so you cannot go to the toilet without a pass with your name on and this means that if you don’t have a doctors note to specify your problem you just have to suffer because they don’t care enough.
Supposed to be a great school yet its just not there are some lovely teachers but also some horrible ones one teacher called my name I didn't want to speak to her so kept walking she then put her arm in front of me to stop me then claimed I barged past her
An excellent school. I live near it and find the pupils very well behaved and polite. I have lived near a school before, and 4pm was a nightmare. Arthur Terry pupils are very nice.
Very unsuited for special needs students despite their ofsted ratings, remember a few fairly racist outburst from certain older teachers and barely dealt with students who committed SEX CRIMES
(Coming from a POC student) most of the other students were racist and when you told the teachers about the verbal abuse they wouldn’t do anything. The teachers are specifically chosen from best to worse of which if your in the 5th set for maths your teacher wouldn’t be as good as the teacher for 1st set. A lot of pressure from teachers especially the head/ deputy head teachers to do well which I’ve realised caused a lot of stress towards my peers. Every strict rules and of which would usually lead to sexism e.g uniform. And let’s not forget Mr Yallop, the maths teacher from 2017 who had personal relations with a sixth form of which the head teacher told him to stop. He didn’t- he lost his job.(search it up if you don’t believe me) Overall, I didn’t feel safe in the particular environment or comfortable, wouldn’t recommend and I was happy once I moved to college
