Compared to most schools in Tamworth, TEC definitely shows to be quite a good school in my opinion. Since attending my grades have sky rocketed and my social ability has immensely grown thanks to a great staff team and friendly students. Unfortunately, the school still remains as the place that people get sent to for being out of control yet TEC fails in adjusting the behaviour of students, particularly within the classroom. Along with the excessive amount of cover lessons, some teachers still can't control a class with a student in one of my classes having thrown a chair at someone and then ruining a large sum of people work by throwing water all over the classroom. Sanctions are not appropriate, nor acted upon by many staff members. While some teachers are able to get results by having great control of a class, others simply don't act upon actions of students and the rest of the class are constantly having to fall behind because of this. Some staff definitely are too big for there boots and tread on thin ice in regards to how they speak to students sometimes and it is unacceptable but overall the school is alright.

Heard about a teacher calling students a 'tramp' and 'lazy' i personally think this is unprofessional behaviour from a qualified teacher needs sorting asap!!!

i went into the college and went in the the beauty salon and had a treatment done by millie cattell , i had a lovely experience with a smashing massage and facial done would definitely recommend

the school OK it could be better the food is edible and you get a fair portion its better then amington poles worth and winocote the 3g astro turth is nice some of the teachers are annoying and they try to sort it but there not very good

Truth of TEC
bad school, kid almost got stabbed and the head teachers didn't do anything about it, didn't even inform police on that day or week, kid left and didn't come back. they don't want bad things to come up so they lie and they want to be a "perfect" school even though they allow students to get harassed and hold knives to peoples throats and backs. don't ever go to this school because they say they care but they don't. They only care about their reputation. go to Wilnecote or polesworth. hell even landau. teachers are ok but if you get bullied teachers would just say stay away from each other. if you have a mental health problem they will just give you a card for a time out and nothing else. if you read this, please keep what I have said in mind. it is the truth. I do not want to be a student.

I have to admit the school is amazing with dealing with mental health. But there are some times when teachers cant control classes and the behaviour from some students can get out of hand

I think the school is about average there is places where it's an amazing school like in the emotional support and learning support but then also some teachers cant control a class and it feels as if we have a different substitute every day
