School has some more unique aspects such as mixed year group forms and toilets with no doors however the cubicles have doors. Teachers lack respect for students and have proven to be extremely patronising. Nice start time of 8:25am (8:30 onwards is marked late) and finish time of 3:05pm. Handle issues regarding mental and physical health extremely well can be quite accommodating
It's a good school. I love pretty much everything about it. There's not much bullies there and the behaviour of children is good. Would recommend for a second choice school, year 6s.
Ok. A few teachers are very understanding and teach well , being the arts teachers (music drama ). However for maths , English , science etc are not so good. Unless your naturally intelligent the school does not cater to your learning style. If you are a practical , visual learner most teachers will not agree that you pay attention and do not learn. Of course the classes may be big , but no individual learning or necessarily being taught face to face or being helped individually is given. The school isn’t bad and for the most part is good , however any child’s mental health or issues are told to not go to pastoral or student support , and rather “sort it out your self , they are busy “
Over all an ok school but clearly much improvement needed .
decent. teachers are hit or miss. don’t wear black jeans or ** **** will have u. mental health support was poor. teaching generally alright if ur naturally intelligent but i definitely wouldn’t call it learner centred. teachers also predicted me really low grades for my GCSEs- not a problem because i did well in exams but if I had been awarded my teacher predicted grades i wouldn’t have a single GCSE. not bitter tho
