Keep away!

Don’t be fooled by the OUTSTANDING it only is because of the lovely headteacher that sweep everything under the carpet! The teachers are bullies them self u would think it be student bullying another student nope that’s not the case at ST Paul’s - is the TEACHERS!!! They confiscated things from students never return them what’s makes it worse is they are actually taking ur things home and thinks is alright! You wouldn’t go shop and put things in ur pocket and walk out would you -that’s called stealing so why would it be okay to confiscate put in your pocket and take it home with you?it take me 3weeks to finally get the jewellery back after contacting the school on daily basis -am not even mentioning other things that had been taking from my child and never return-when I confronted the headteacher about it he’s answer was “let me get a new one for you” not realising that at that point is not about the item anymore is about the principle that should never happen!
Stuff are not listening when the students are complaining about the wellbeing (usually you would expect ur child to be checked by a school nurse) not listening to students problems and try to work through it instead they get put in isolation which is their favourite by the way thinking that way things will get resolved instead of seating down with the child and finding out what’s the actual problem is , they will call you about anything even about a wrong socks.
The school is also very racist ,my child was attacked on my doorstep by another student and their parent they decided my child should be punished for that and got suspended for 3 days when the other student is left without any consequences,it is sad the way things are at St Paul’s and if you are of any colour you definitely wanna think again if this is the right place for ur child , is OUTSTANDING because what’s happens in school STAYS IN SCHOOL- the Head is doing a great job , congratulations

Unfair avoid

This school emphasises their catholic beliefs and will do their upmost for the students excelling in subjects , please be aware if your child is struggling and does insignificant things like rolling up their skirt and refusing to hand phone over , they will be victimised constantly and permanently in isolation and excluded . My daughter has been at home more than in school due to deputy head who is like a dog without a leash . Really dissatisfied with treatment of my daughter who is under SEND and has been treated with the most unbelievable unfair treatment. Please avoid unless you want the school to exclude your child and make provisions for a pupil referral unit !!

This school sucks man

I dont know why the school is said to be 'outstanding' its okay with a lot of flaws. First, overpriced food in the canteen, come one like 2 pounds for a slice of pizza?! Second, lack of awareness in mental health, its like the 'teachers' are more focused on you getting good grades to make the school look good then your actual learning and health. Third, they dont understand that sometimes its not your fault for being late, traffic and other problems exist more than being lazy to get to school. I was given a detention for being 5 minutes late because my bus refused to let me off in heavy traffic causing me to be late.

Should not be outstanding

Total ignorance of mental health. Attendance and school rating is what they care first. Bad choice for SEN students.

Bad school

Bad school , more focused on the uniform and attendance than the children’s mental health .

School review

Teachers show obvious favouritism, head teacher and other teachers care more about school reputation more about the students. Mental health at the school is at an all time low

It’s okay

The school does achieve good grades but I found that the teaching methods were extremely far from diverse, lessons became repetitive and uninteresting leading students to care less about their work. Things such as bullying are not handled well enough and teachers often presented favouritism in class or foul attitudes towards students which made the experience rather unpleasant, however there are exceptions and some amazing teachers here. The schools main flaw is how stressful they make everything - with little to no emphasis or help with mental health. Regardless, the school has some great facilities and departments which do help with learning and the students who attend are as well behaved as teenagers get, it is definitely one of the best schools grow as an individual in.
