I love this school, most of the teachers genuinely care you and your education, it is much better than most of the other schools in the local areas, despite challenges there may be occasionally.
Uniform rules should be made more inclusive for those who are transgender of closeted, including things like allowing boys to have hair below the collar, and wear earrings, and making it more clear that boys can wear skirts and tights to school if they wanted instead of just not saying if it is against the rules. These measures would also go to help those students who may not be comfortable with going to school while being trans, because of legitimate worries about thing like bullying / hate crimes. There is also blatant transphobia from the teachers within the school, glad I no longer have to attend this hell hole
Overall, the school is okay i believe that the mental health support systems can be vastly improved as i know many pupils who have issues but they are seen as defiant and lazy. overall the teaching quality is inconsistent as there are outstanding members of staff but there are also members of staff who aren’t as good.
The school is okay for grades, although if you aren’t catholic I don’t recommend. There school really like showing their catholic values and ethos. Also, there is a quiet problematic uniform policy. Where girls aren’t allowed 99% of shorts, and boys aren’t allowed “haircuts below shoulder” or “any earrings”.
