After having two children complete prep & college we’ve watched the school disintegrate from a well rounded Catholic school, into a woke agenda pushing fish bowl. Unlike any other independent school Head teacher you’ll meet, the new head is rarely to been seen at school or engaging with parents and pupils. The last two heads were always available and attended nearly every home sports match, always engaging with parents.
Do not send your child to St Ed’s on old edmundians advice as it’s not the same school they remember.
No longer will it generate rational, open thinkers with an ethical, caring nature that had been harnessed by their non-pushy Catholicism. The school is now more akin with a crazy California set up we’re kids will soon identify as cats, books will be rewritten and no doubt Alfred McKinsey theories will be part of the heads future curriculum.
