Fond memories of condoms thrown at female tutors until they cry.
It is a terrible school, I do however have fond memories of delinquent classes, chairs thrown, tables flipped and condoms thrown at female tutors until they cry.
Some of the teachers here are more than just on the verge of creepy, favouritism is huge, you will not get a decent schooling here.
It was a traumatic place to go. Really terrible, it's a shame there are so few good options for schooling in the vale, a real education is not really existent from my experiences.
Old school 'associates' I knew all now live depressed and bland lives and are now becoming jaded and bitter in later life. Drug and substance abuse more than likely played a part in that.
I hear it's better these days, my niece attended also, I just think, don't forget where this school started and where it still hedges itself, it's still a mixed public school.
Albeit there are some real gems of tutors there, but 40% decent staff with 80% kids that don't want to learn is still bad odds to gamble your child's future on.
I know it sounds funny to say, but I survived this school and I don't say that lightly, like I survived the school before it, maybe in this one I didn't have chairs thrown at the back of my head but it was honestly not that far off.
Fond memories. In many ways. Some great teachers who battled a loosing battle to teach their delinquent pupils.
Vile school. In the process of pulling my daughter out of the pit. Treats it's pupils like criminals and their parents like toddlers.
My daughter was assaulted by 3 girls that waited for her outside of the school gates. They didn't even contact me even after I called them and left a vm. Nothing was done to these girls yet my daughter placed in isolation on a heatwave, no work, no breaks and little supervision for a few green highlights in her hair to lift her spirits after being told daily to kill herself because of her hair colour yet SHES told to ignore it!
Teachers will not take responsibility when they're in the wrong and il be going to the media about everything!
Disgusting, sh*t show of a school run by power-tripping fools.
St cyres is the worst option you could pick. I hate it here at st cyres, it ruined my life . I’m stressed and depressed because of that school lies we’re spread about me and it’s a racist school . I’ve had like 3 fights and a white girls had 15, they want to kick me out . They don’t support Eastern European girls or boys they treat them like trash . Worst school ever kids get shout at by the teachers and students self harm because of the school . I’ve seen so many girls with scars all over then bodies and crying everyday . No make up or nails allowed or you’ll get icolation or detention but soon when you’re in year 8 or 9 they won’t care anymore . It’s probably the worst school in penarth!!! I tried self harming your kid might too .
Horrendous Additional Learning Needs Department run by the incompetent , exteptionally rude and openly hostile ALNco. If your child has addrional needs stay away. Staff cover up bullying., which they cannot control. I am one of many parents that had to take my child out of the school for their own wellbeing. There needs to be an independent investigation to address the school's serious falings and the impact this has on the children that are left there.
School do nothing to solve the bullying, children get threatened by other pupils with knifes
Children walk around the school with no masks on during the pandemic
Absolutely disgusting
Children are bullied and teachers do nothing to solve it.
They allow children to walk around schools without masks on putting vulnerable people in danger absolutely disgusting.
