My son went to this school. Humiliating him over his special needs and constant fight to get everything in place. Left there with poor results. Don’t take their word for it when they say they will help your child, scratch the surface to see for yourself.A teacher wanted to keep my son in low sets
When my eldest son first attended this school I could not praise it high enough, now however I can only say it has totally let my youngest son and his peers down drastically.
He has had no teacher for DT lessons for months even though he is now doing GCSEs,they promise booster lessons to make up time and yet these have not materialised.
He has now been told a lot of his work will not be marked as they were given the wrong amount required so he has basically done to much!.
This is not only upsetting for him but also as his father it is heartbreaking to see the amount of work he has done and the interest he has for this subject be totally undermined by the lack of real interest fro. The school.
I would not recommend this school now to anyone for this reason let alone the amount of incidents lately involving knives etc.

My son came back from school and told me that he had been told by the teachers that “he should go another school” just because he had got his eyebrows slit. They had told him to stay away from the other kids during lunch and break simply because of his eyebrows. Lastly they had put him in isolation until it had grown back simply because of his eyebrows. Don’t go to the school unless you want your son to get bullied my the staff. The teachers name is called ** *****
Family oriented school with a strong traditional leadership team. Teachers are specialists which is evident of the high GCSE grades year on year. Best school for boys of all ability.
Best school for a new person to come and learn. Teachers are a bit strict but provide great knowledge to the students. Mr Fisher is a good headteacher.
