these laptops they give you have for some reason are really poor in quality and you cannot do anything that a normal laptop should because I received one for my son and he cannot access any sorts of games for fun or entertainment. This school thinks children cannot have fun anywhere not even at home. Fix your laptops please.
Disgusting place. Dispicible staff, not even able to control students. No mental help support when needed. Obvious favouritism towards certain students so the rest are setup to fail. Bulling policies... what are they? This hell hole hasn't a clue! Don't even know their end from their elbow!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Had a horrible experience mostly , I was bullied badly , nothing happened , I also suffer from very bad social and normal anxiety , which is overlooked by almost all staff, I was belittled by teachers who would push my limits so far I’ve had four hug panic attacks, struggle to breath , each time being gaslighted and shouted at . Not only that but the medical team are horrendous , I once broke my finger on the way into school,(don’t know it was broken) went straight to medical, asked for an ice pack, was instead shouted at by a teacher for not having a tie , as I couldn’t put it on, and then after he continues to tell me he doesn’t want me crying like a brat , he shouts at me until I again have a panic attack where I can’t breath, and he tells my friends to leave me and puts me in a room alone, finally another teacher turns up, where I get a not cold ice pack for five minutes, and then told I was being dramatic , despite my finger being twice the size it should be a wonky didn’t call home , and then made me do a maths gcse , there are some amazing teachers , such as the art and science , by all means there is some good , but unless ur child is perfect , you can always adovate for them , or they are truly very resilient , this isn’t the school for you , funding is horrible and the majority of the teachers are well, bad words .not only this but teachers pick favourites, ignore struggling ones and often just get pushed down , it’s an ok school , just make sure ur checking what’s happening
St Cleres school is a great school! Teachers are so dedicated to making sure students learn and progress. The school has great facilities and a wide range of subjects, which are made both fun and engaging. The school takes in all abilities/types of student with visually impaired and hearing impaired facilities, where students are present in normal lessons, however are provided with the extra support they need. The school receives consistently good GCSE results, placing it as one of the highest achieving in the area.
I am a student at this school and I can say that I have improved my knowledge but the physical acts of the school are poor. We learn nothing about today’s society and the dangers and problems in our world. At this point no one is going to be successful because we aren’t learning the things we need to.
I've been employed here for a few years now and never has the unproffesionalism sunk this low before. I'm not usually the person to complain but somebody has to. Firstly, the schools staff are almost always late to starting the live lessons on Microsoft Teams. Secondly, the staff don't put much effort into lesson planning and use websites to teach the students instead. Lastly, I'm on the last straw. If the schools staff don't put in the effort, why should I? I've been considering leaving since july last year.
My son is in year 7, and has severe Autism. He was being bullied by a group of other year 7s and came home one day with blood dripping down his arm as another pupil had stabbed him with a compass! He claims this happened at BREAK TIME which is hours before the end of the day. How no teachers did anything, even after he asked permission to go to the medical office! I'm appauled by this schools lack of care for it's students and will be removing my child as soon as possible.
I myself am I teacher here and I HATE my job. I can honestly say the tearchers do not care about the school or the children. when the 3 o'clock bell goes they don't give a toss. I've worked here for years and can't wait to leave. by sending your kids here u garenty them at the job centre in 10 years... WORST SCHOOL I'VE EVER WORKED IN !!!

The school also places high importance on the well-being and mental health of the students, with a specific team who ale all trained to deal with a variety of issues. The clear hierarchy in staff is also very helpful for students, as they know exactly who to contact / who will best deal with the issue immediately. As for lockdown, my school reacted both quickly and effectively, being able to deliver good quality lessons thorough the platform Microsoft teams with no delay. Work was given feedback and teachers / form tutors were constantly checking on the welfare of the students at home. Now we’re back at school, clear and distinctive zones have been put in place as well as then need to wear face coverings in the corridors. Classrooms have available hand sanitisers and are regularly cleaned through the day. I am so glad that I attend St Cleres school as it is one of the best schools in this area!
