I loved my time at St Bede's, taking full advantage of the range of extracurriculars available. The sports teams are known for their ability but smaller, less competitive, teams are available as well. The teachers are lovely and understanding in all manner of speaking, taking time outside of class to speak to you if you have any concerns or want to improve in addition to the school work. Content is taught efficiently and effectively across the subjects (although I did not pursue many of them beyond KS3) The school ethos of religion is apparent but not overwhelming, providing support through the chaplaincy as well as termly eucharists and weekly tutorials (although my tutor group didn't always complete these). The canteen has decent food but I had packed lunches mostly as the queuing system wasn't great (it was a lot better prior to the refurbishment, with separate upper and lower school queues)
This school is very welcoming, friendly people. St Bede's is very good at sports games winning almost every match played. Teachers are helpful and answer most questions although not all mark the work on time but they are willing to help. School facilities are meh. It could improve such as dining room, queuing system, toilets etc. They installed the canteen in another place but i must say it was no better than the old one and smaller as well. Food is ok but i ate packed lunch so can't recall the school meals. St Bede's provides a range of activities and clubs. Especially gardening, business enterprise, debate etc. There used to be loads of fun trips but now it's all gone a bit downhill.
