This is an Absolute joke of a school
AMAZING 👏
It's a fantastic school and stands by the anti-bullying. It has many amazing teachers and a super team of staff it is very good overall and better then alot of other highschools and if you like sports it has very good morning activities and afternoon aswell they care alot about your mental Health and is a very open school you can talk to them without getting nervous and doesn't force you to do stuff you don't want to do kinda strict on doing what your not suppose to be doing in lessons and is a very big school with lots of helpful students in the environment there lunch is delicious and so good the service is super but the toilets could do with a bit more cleaning and has very nice uniform.

Im in year 11 at Sprowston currently and I couldn't be happier to be leaving and not coming back next year. Recently they switched detention from after school to lunch time. I have been sat in them before and have always felt so hungry because they don't allow you to go and get food or eat inside detention, this is stopping students from eating, a basic human right. The food quality is also very poor and very overpriced: they're now charging £2 or higher for meals that would cost them 50p to make. Meals have gone up 20-30p since September and its been like that my entire time at Sprowston e.g y7(2018-19) slice of pizza 90p, y11 (2022-23) slice of pizza £1.45.
I understand inflation exists of course but the food quality has also gotten worse and is often met with higher prices which is a complete injustice. Also children are very often not allowed to express themselves. And there are also barely any people who smoke weed which is very disappointing . Places like jane austin are filled with stoners and there are very few here. We need to do better honestly. More stoners and better food please

this school is rubbish
this school is so bad i tell them i can’t physically or mentally go to lesson because i get panic attacks and then they just tell me i’m faking or just deal with it
hate this school.
there is such noncey teachers, i had been perved on multiple times then i had to leave since it gave me such trauma, ptsd and depression iv been left with such anxiety with any man i have ever saw. i couldn’t cope i had attempted multiple times. teachers do not care about your mental health i told my head of year i wanted to kill myself, they didn’t care and did nothing about it. i was bullied for 2 years cos of how i looked and teachers told me to ignore n that it would stop but it didn’t, i struggled with my work and it ruined my education. all the stress gave me acne and i got bullied more don’t go to this school save yourself.

The bullying nearly killed me
Do not send your child here. I was bullied horrendously throughout my 5 years there. It turned into harassment and assault at one point and instead of dealing with the problem they got the police in and was not believed and was made to apologise to the bullies. I was assaulted numerous times by this one girl who would not stop bullying me and they did nothing. I even had to have surgery at one point due to her injuring me. The bullying got so bad I was severely depressed, suicidal and stopped eating for a while. I tried to end my life several times because no cared that I was being bullied and was told by my head of year to ignore it and that i deserved it. I wasn't able to move schools so I had to endure 5 years of anxiety, trauma and pain that will unfortunately live with me. I also know some of the teachers were very inappropriate towards other students which led to the person getting in trouble instead of the teacher
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL.
I do not recommend sending your children to this school!!! Throughout my daughters time at this school all she has gotten from multiple teachers is abuse, nasty comments and threats. One teacher told her that her lessons are perfect without her and that she is ruining her lesson all because she was talking to her friend. Another teacher got in her face and told her if she ever needs support that she will not help and that she does not care about her anymore, knowing everything my daughter has been through and how much she has struggled.

God awful school with god awful staff. Had teachers mispronouncing my name out of spite and even having the lack of professionalism to label students negatively instead of simply helping them. (took advantage of the offer of exams and left with 5 good GCSE's simply to spite them back, not much of a lost cause now am i darl x). Some would dish out discipline because they could and not for the reason that a student deserved it. On top of rude, little amount of staff members that cared, the bullying is terrible and preach mental health to no return with no substance of solving it. Talk out of their backsides in terms of equal rights, again, no substance. Huge hype over one supply teacher but in all fairness I've hidden in the toilets on multiple occasions because the geez just gets down with the kids and condones the quiet ones getting picked on. Rated personal development as a 5 based on my own progress but if i didnt make it myself I'd simply blame it on the 5 years on hell in the place. If your face fits the school is average but i wouldnt come back to this place with a ten ft pole. The worst application I've made, don't bother.

horrible school to go to, teachers don’t care about student welfare or anything other than grades and ofsted, school is infested with neo nazis, racists, rapists and homophobes and entitled pricks who never get told no and teachers who listen to this and say nothing . if you don’t want your child to end up bullied and traumatised don’t send them here

Not bully free
So I went to this school for three years and left in year 9 due to bullying. I loved this school for it’s funny teachers and good education but how they handle bullying is quite poor, I got pushed around and mocked by the same girl everyday for my appearance I tried to stand up for my self and tell the teachers but nothing seemed to really get sorted my parents decided to pull me out of this as things got worse it’s took days for them to call back my head of year was so nice but hard to get in contact with ( I am trying to remember as much as I can as I am now graduated so this was 3 years ago, the bulling was so bad that when I moved schools the teachers said the would discipline the students but seems like they didn’t it’s really like they couldn’t cope to handle it so happy let me move schools without a care it’s such a shame that the victim of all these horrible bully’s have to leave the school and go through the hassle and lost 3 months of education due to this and failed to set me work, if you are thinking of sending your kid to this school I recommend it in terms of the good education but I don’t think this school is bully free but hope it improves through time

Horrendous lack of commitment to education or student welfare, and the PE teacher was a nonce

Bullying is rife and a solutely nothing is done

LGBTQ pushed upon all students. This seems to be the focus of this school
